This is a very interesting thread.
It would be nice if the devs could make some kind of arrangement with modders adding quality stuff like this.

Well I try to put together something... I'm just lazy and the units I remade are from here and there... I can't say I have for example...a hungarian expansion or a czech.. or soviet. It's just a bunch of stuff mixed.

First thought... someone please if possible rename this topic to "Admirals Unit Extension"

Good stuff!
I'm glad someone managed to bring the towed sIG.33 to the game, part of every German infantry division next to the leIG.18.
When I took a look at the new units of Sandstorm, I was immediately disappointed not to find the Sturmpanzer II among it; a DAK-exclusive SPG.

Is that some kind of FlaK-bunker? Now that's a really neat idea! With zero supply like all structures it could become very useful in defending some isolated positions... :D

Does it integrate flawlessly with the current OoB terrain style set?

(I'm so envious...can't wait to get my hands on this... :mrgreen: )

Hehheh the fortified FlaK is the real Frankenstein... Do you recognize the Tunnel - Cave? :lol: The fort with the turret... :D Well it's not ready yet, I need to figure out how to map it because it uses three different objects and skins.

The 8.8 cm Flak 41 could also be a very useful upgrade. It even saw combat in Tunisia '43.

Fortified FlaK position is strictly AA only since it's Line of fire is Hi-Angle only. It is not yet complete, but you will see why. Some of these we still have intact on the hills above Budapest. Fixed emplacements with underground stores and cable connections to radar fire control.

However, I have plans for dual Coastal gun/Flak placements, JAP, FIN, ITA and YUG. Perhaps US but no info on that. Also, need to figure out how to use ART against ships, because it's damn annoying I can't shoot at ships not even with heavy arty.

FlaK41 was on the list, but I could not find proper plans/drawings. Yet. Same for PAK43, but I suppose there will be stock ones with the next official (Endkrieg?)

Isn't that the standard behavior of 3D-freaks to rather advertise until being hired by the industry instead of giving anything for free?
It's still more entertaining than the many bugs of OOB for sure! :)

No I'm just a fracking maximalist who feels nothing is good enough and being frustrated about things I can't do... (like aircraft and infantry). So I comfort myself jumping here and there for quick victories of easily doable things without completing a full faction.. :roll:
