Re: Some random units if anyone wants them
Thank you. I made a slight revision to the hood. Maybe not noticeable but nevertheless, here they are.
Re: Some random units if anyone wants them
I know there are some examples of this unit out there already, and in a more proportional size than this one, but here is a leIG 18 I've had laying around for a while, but forgot about.

Re: Some random units if anyone wants them
Nice, thx. You also have an AT-Version for the leIG 18 ?
Sorry, for my bad school english...
Re: Some random units if anyone wants them
I'm planning to revise this one. The gun looks wrong to me, but this is what I have for now.

Here's the updated He-70k in which Hungary used 18 as Long Range Recon

Re: Some random units if anyone wants them
Looks great! And always looking for more “minor” axis units.
Re: Some random units if anyone wants them
Here are a couple of "Mediterranean" Spit IXs. I don't think I've seen one in US service on the forums yet so I whipped this up, based off of the bebro Spit V.
Re: Some random units if anyone wants them
Here's a Mediterranean US P-40 also from the bebro icon.
Re: Some random units if anyone wants them
That's a nice-looking skin! Thanks Maguro
Did you do those using Dwight's Camo Shop?

Thank you cw58. Hope they are useful. Using DCS would've made things much easier but not this time. These were done using GIMP photo editor. I could try making a mask of some other air units to put in DCS but I am still pretty new to mask making. It would be nice to have a few other matching US planes for 42'-43' scenarios.
Re: Some random units if anyone wants them
I forgot I had these two.
Re: Some random units if anyone wants them
Here are some Free French air icons. Not super inventive, just added some French national markings but maybe someone will find a use for them.
Re: Some random units if anyone wants them
Spit IX and Mosquito. Maybe the tail markings need to be changed though.
Re: Some random units if anyone wants them
Some bombers...
Re: Some random units if anyone wants them
Here's my attempt at 7.5cm FK 18. I don't think this gun was widely used but here it is anyway.
Re: Some random units if anyone wants them
Thanks Maguro! I use the FK18 as an alternative to the FK16nA. In my eq-file, the FK16 has a range of 3 but can only be towed by horse/wagon. The FK18 only has a range of 2 but can be towed by any vehicle. So a choice must be made: better range or better mobility?
If anyone wonders (or even cares ) why I changed the vanilla FK 16nA, it actually had a slightly longer range than the 10.5cm leFH 18 and was never modified for vehicle towing; it still had wooden-spoked wheels.

Re: Some random units if anyone wants them
Nice idea to limit the wooden-spoke wheeled to horse transport only. Actually the reason I ended up making the FK 18 icon was because I was initially working on a new FK 16 icon (it really should loo more old-fashioned) and thought the original vanilla icon resembled the FK 18 except with a longer barrel, so the FK 18 posted here is really just that with a shorted barrel.
Re: Some random units if anyone wants them
This is similar to one I posted a while back, but without a crew.
