A real slug fest with many swings of favour. I think the gods of war were playing dice with this one!

Division C
Geffalrus (Antigonids) tied with Karvon (Persians) 37-16. Good game as always with Karvon you skirmishing maniac.
The Antigonid army lined up a bunch of pikes with cavalry support expecting to find a field of Mercenary Hoplites and medium foot. Instead, they saw nothing but skirmishers and light spear cavalry. That left the two of us in a tactical stalemate. I couldn't catch his army, but he couldn't really hurt mine.
The Antigonids did their best to try and pin down the elusive Persian cavalry, and came within 4% of success.......but as night fell, the Persians continued to dance just out of range. If a bunch of guys on horses really don't want to be caught, it's rather difficult to change their minds. I had one chance to use ZOC and light horse to trap some cavalry, but I messed up and charged prematurely. Oh well. Definitely learned some things for next time.
The Macedonians wave good bye to the Persians as they skip happily away. (2-0)

Division B:
MorkinTheFree (Romano-British 407-599 AD) defeated Nijis - Arab (Abbasid) 836-873 AD (no allies) with score 60-51
Most undeserved victory ever... Last turn of the game and I think only turn I was in the percentage lead. Had a few lucky rallies , Nijis didn't.
