Division 2 result
Tomoegozen (Thracian) beat Rob123 (Indian) 58 to 33 (That is the result in battle , the final losses table showed 55 vs 17 , not sure which I'm supposed to post , or if it makes any difference...)
Thanks to Rob123 for the game , as I'm finding in my game where I'm using the Indians , once you get in amongst their archers it gets very messy very quickly.

Results Div 2 game 28
Mairtin - Pergamene 262BC defeated TomoeGozen - Carthaginian 280BC - 50:24
A well played and hard fought game, with the result much closer than the score indicates.

Not sure which player you are referring to:
bomber23 > played 4 turns today
Aetius39 > picked up the game I posted a day or two back, and said he would not be available for a few days

Nosy_Rat (Eqyptians) defeats Karvon (Sassanids) 44-8. Hard match-up for that Sassanid list, unfortunately.

Division 1
vvanttin (Arabs of Syria/Iraq) beat Nosy_Rat (Rhoxolani) 60-15
Now, on the left hand side of the battlefield there was a large mountain, and on the right hand side there was an open field surrounded by difficult terrain. The enemy sent his irregular troops to take the mountain, while their main host of cavalry rode to the open field. The Arabs set upon the mountain haughtily, trusting on their superior Arab mountaineering technology to grant them victory. But God wasn't pleased with their arrogance, and they were soon faced with many reversals caused by mistakes, bad luck and tricks of the enemy. This is seen by the Scholars as proof that you must first strive to be perfect in the eyes of God before you are allowed to defeat your enemies. Some philosophers, disparaging the concept of Inner Jihad, dismiss this teaching by the quip: 'Never send an average dailami to do the job of a superior dailami'.
On the field the main hosts of cavalry met, Muslim cavalry screened from arrows by levied spearmen. The Sauromatians fought fiercely, felling a multitude of average and below average Muslims by their arrows, and besting Bedouins in single combat. However, their lack of discipline was their demise. For when they were charged by troops they deemed as lesser than them they would stand and fight, but at other times they would evade. Those who stood and were left by their fellows were then flanked and overpowered, and those who evaded were often put to the lance from the rear. This wild way of fighting cannot defeat the Muslim military doctrine of 'Hold the Line' said to be devised by the Prophet (PBUH) himself. At one moment in battle, in a wild pursuit with horsemen galloping in every direction, some eyewitnesses claim they saw a fragmented Muslim cavalry unit charging and breaking on contact two fragmented enemy cavalry units and chasing one away. Military experts thought this was impossible, but now it is widely believed to have been a miracle granted by God to defeat the heathens. This is the account of how the Sauromatians became believers in God.

Div 2 result game 24
Mairtin (Uratian 681BC) draws with bomber23 (Jewish 163BC) 53:48
Was 53 all before one of my units decided to rally as night fell. If night hadn't come then I surely would have lost to the remaining zealots and pikes. A hard fight, thanks for the game.
