I suppose the light foot will not get one cohesion level drop because of the protection of the ditch, but it drops in the game.

I cannot see your images. I do *think*, however, that light troops that have evaded past a ditch can still get auto dropped if charged in the rear that turn.

As I said. I believe a unit that attempted to evade and was rear charge does not gain protection from the ditch. Presumably because they're getting cut down from behind while attempting to scramble to safety, as opposed to lining the ditch to defend it.
