Luzon issue.

Despite clearing out both scenarios and new downloads, OoB Scenarios shows one of each but "post a game" (mini-maps) both are shown as 1.0
Happily this is not a problem because of the extra ships on the mini-map and a 1.1 is underway. What a lot of the Sons of the Rising Sun, no wonder my Filipinos are having a tough time in 1.0

Luzon

I found that playing the Japanese, the jungle was a real obstacle. Mos of the units were constantly in the red.

Apologies for the slow response. I had expected an email to come through, perhaps it did and it went to my junk mail. I'm now at turn 16 and 5 of my fighters that were not shot down have been removed from play and sit in my basket. I am unable to redeploy them even though I have over 7000 resource points and 21 AF command points. You asked if they were core units. Yes, they are. They include fighters piloted by Gerhard Berkhorn, Hans-Joachim Marseille. Any idea why this is happening? You're help would be appreciated!

Changes based on a few testing matches:
All units except air units are now non-core.
Allied-leaning Italian units are now AI-controlled.
Added more German commanders for play-balance reasons.

Could you please save a scenario turn, zip it and attach here?
And, just to be sure. These units are not killed and sit in the graveyard list? If yes, they need to be reformed.

Will do. How do I save a scenario turn? Can I do it even though it's not my turn now?

And yes, they were not killed and are in my BASKET, as if they have already been bought (not my graveyard list waiting to be bought). I click on them but nowhere on the board does it offer me the ability to deploy them (no deployment down arrows appear near any of my airfields, including the ones well into Germany).

BTW - I have a screen shot of the basket. I have tried to attach that here. I set it to select the fighter piloted by Gerhard Berkhorn so you can see that.

Sorry, I forgot that you were in a pultiplayer match (where you can't save turns).
A reminder, which scenario was this?

Chema_cagi wrote: Wed Aug 12, 2020 9:25 pm Been playing Market Garden 2vsAI v. 1.2, still on the 16th turn, but I'm enjoying it a lot so far. I would like to make some comments and suggestions, though:

1. On the third scottish airborne replacement, there's one 6 pounder AT battery that seems to have fallen to the ground and must make the road on foot :) (=does not enter airborne)

2. I would suggest to place all the british aircraft into the RAF-great britain group (the main ground force). As they are now, you will rarely replace them stealing points from the airborne brigade

3. I don't know much in detail about the campaign, but for being an airborne operation it seems they are the germans who have the air superiority

4. Maybe a note could be added about the useless fuel depots everywhere, or make them somehow useful (i.e., adding some secondary objective, don't know)

But above all thanks for making such an enjoyable scenario, Erik
Thanks for the feedback, added to a new list.
1) I'll add transport to non-para units.
2) Good suggestion
3) The Germans historically scraped together some 300+ aircraft for one major raid. I think there was a second smaller one as well.
4) The fuel depots must be destroyed and their locations captured to make sure the Germans reinforcing the map edges arrive out opf supply.
1. Good. It happened to us too, twice. Both times I'd assumed I'd pressed a key but clearly it's a bug.
2. Agreed, good suggestion.
3. Seems reasonable

4. This one is very interesting. In our recent 2v2 game I was playing the wermacht. I snuck a few infantry units along the bottem from the East and made it to the XXX Corps fuel depots and trashed them. Oh how we laughed as XXX Corp ground to a halt and they surrendered the game. However it did highlight that perhaps rather than 2 depots with so many resources it may be better to have more depots with less resources. In this manner XXX Corps have more to defend and have more time to rush back if they've not left enough forces to guard the road. Allies should not lose because XXX Corps easily lost their supply.

There are a few LW units withdrawing on turns 11 and 15.
Maybe this is what you see the results of.
I have added a message about the withdrawals.

Thanks for looking into it. Curious as to why they show up where they do? In the basket, they look like they are ready to deploy. Not that I know what would be a better solution within the platform.

PS - Namsos and Bodo are where my parents are from.

I should probably change the effect from 'exit' to maybe killed or something.

So you are in fact a "nordlending".
My mother comes from the Bodø area as well, so I'm a half-breed
