does anyone remember Civil War General and Civil War general2

really enjoyed those games. a company named Sierra had them. they were big sellers(I thought) but they never released any more versions. wish the Devs here would get a hold of it, redo it with more features along the DLC lines and go from there. the thought of the Hero concept especially would be awesome!

I played Civil War General 2, a great game! I am surprised GOG never brought it back or no one else ever did anything with the franchise.

Yes - I do well remember.

But only the original one. I didn`t know there was a second part.

Totally Support the idea of a nes round-based game.

All new products seem to be realtime battles - and these are too fast for my aged brain.

the Deuce was better but still left out many battles and events. my mind goes crazy thinking about add ons like adding Heroes to the game, commendation points by raiding supply depots and especially trains, capturing spies and couriers with battle and new weapons plans not withstanding blockade runners etc. Naval theatre of the war almost totally ignored except for Vicksburg. plus a non historical divergent path. love to see The Slither go for it!!
