Re: Field of Glory II - The Divisional Championships (TDC)-Rules
Just to clarify the map choice rules:
1. Either player can unilaterally reject the first map - no need to get permission from the other player?
2. If the first map is rejected, the second map may be accepted or rejected by the player who did not reject the first map?
3. If the first two maps are rejected by both players, the third map *must* be used?

Re: Field of Glory II - The Divisional Championships (TDC)-Rules
Some ambiguity for me as these two statements do not seem to correlate.
A.
B Would indicate that the same player can reject the first and second map.
A.
B.If the first map is rejected, the second map may be accepted or rejected by the player who did not reject the first map?
A Would indicate the player who rejected the first map cannot reject the second map.If both players do not agree on the map on the first two rolls
B Would indicate that the same player can reject the first and second map.

Re: Field of Glory II - The Divisional Championships (TDC)-Rules
Hmm, not sure how much clearer to make this, but here it goes...desertedfox wrote: ↑Sun Jul 03, 2022 6:53 am Some ambiguity for me as these two statements do not seem to correlate.
A.B.If the first map is rejected, the second map may be accepted or rejected by the player who did not reject the first map?A Would indicate the player who rejected the first map cannot reject the second map.If both players do not agree on the map on the first two rolls
B Would indicate that the same player can reject the first and second map.
1. Either player may unilaterally require a reroll of the map initially.
2. Each player is allowed one such reroll, so the other player could demand such if he's not happy with the 2nd map rerolled by the first.
3. If BOTH players are not happy with the second reroll, they can mutually agree to a final third one which they will then have to use.

1 Both players must agree on the 1st or 2nd map to play on itdesertedfox wrote: ↑Sun Jul 03, 2022 6:53 am Some ambiguity for me as these two statements do not seem to correlate.

2 Both players can reject the first or second map so if player A or B rejected the first map, A or B can also reject the second map.
3. The 3rd map is compulsory
The ruling was based on me playing a number of games using the DL system, that was both players must disagree on a map to not use it. I used a cavalry army and I played on 2 maps that were horrendous for a cavalry army as my opponents wanted to use those maps. Hopefully our system will offer better options.
