It is possible to leave figures and terrain at Battlefield Hobbies but obviously this is done at the owners risk. Free and plentiful parking is also outside Battlefield Hobbies.

Time Table for Games –
Registration time on Saturday 9:00am to 9:20am
Games will be:
Saturday: 1st Game 9.30 - 1.00 and 2nd Game 2.00 - 5.30

Other Information: -
Players must supply their own terrain pieces. These must be to an acceptable standard, and the umpire will have the discretion to remove unsightly items.

Players must be present and ready to start the match at the appointed time. Where a player has a reasonable excuse for arriving late the match start will be delayed by up to 30 minutes. After which time the effected player will be awarded maximum points.
If a player resigns from a game at any stage after the first set up dice have been rolled their opponents will be awarded maximum points, and they will be awarded 0 points.
In the event of a bye for whatever reason the player getting the bye will receive the average of all the winning scores for that round.
Lunch will not be available so all players must make their own arrangements.

We now have 8 players registered: -
Keith Spedding
Dene Green
Robert Medcraft
Chris Beesley
Keith Spedding
David Burrows
Quinton Dalton
Quinton Dalton

There were a number more who expressed an interest so it will be great if they could put there entries in by the New Year.
The List Checker is Ben Jones (ben@benedictjones.plus.com ) and lists should be sent to him by Sunday 1st January 2023. However, he might allow a couple of days grace.

Unfortunately Ben is unlikely to be at the competition so we will work out who is umpire at the competition.

We are now up to 10 with Ray Boyles and Andy Kitcher joining us.

There are still others out there who expressed an interest especially with the move to Daventry.

We are now at 11 players for the competition but there is still space for more if your interested in playing.

The 12 players are: -
1. Keith Spedding
2. Dene Green
3. Chris Beesley
4. David Burrows
5. Quinton Dalton
6. Trevor Allen
7. Ray Boyles
8. Andy Kitcher
9. Simon Green
10. David Elks
11. Bob Medcraft

We are at an odd number of players so really need another player.

Ben has had a number of the list in and there is a good mix. As soon as all the lists are in I will publish the runners and riders and make the draw for the first round. I will try and ensure that in the first round a protestant army fights a catholic army.

Thanks Bob for the organising of a good weekend tournament. Think Battlefield Hobbies FOG-R round should be part of the regular fixtures list going forward.

12 6 Trevor Allen 30 YW German 7 10 1 4 2 0 1 9 12

Congratulations to Simon, Dene and Clive for taking the top three places.

Chris won best painted army. It was decided that rather than having the best sporting player award it should be changed to best supporting player which was won by Trevor who so far adrift of the rest of the players. Trevor's score would have been even lower if it was not for David Burrows taking pity on him in the last round and letting him score more points than he did in the first three rounds.

A big thank you goes to Battlefield Hobbies and their manager Graham for assisting us and judging the best painted army part of the competition.

We will be returning next year to Battlefield Hobbies for another round of games. Just need to decide on the theme.
