joncorcuera wrote:Jon, why the abbaye battle is a ASD and the battle in cristot is a ME?
Cristot is an
ASD because the German unit
intercepted the Allied unit en route to somewhere further
The first Abbaye battle (Abbaye AM) was an ASD for the same reason. The second Abbaye battle (Abbaye PM) was an
ME because 8/3cdn
arrived before Ost 411/716 but
during the same turn.
Long multiple sector moves only make sense if you're reasonably certain that no enemy units are present that might intercept you...

Gentlemen, the June 10th download is ready to play...
GottaLove88s wrote:1. Run BA on your Mac, PC or iPad
2. If you do not already have GJS'44 on your system, skip ahead to Step 8
3. Choose Multiplayer (at the bottom)
4. Log in to Multiplayer as usual
5. Choose the My Challenges tab (at the top) then press New Challenge
6. Select your old GJS'44 Campaign scenario and then Delete Campaign (bottom right)
7. Press X until you get back to BA start screen
8. Choose Campaigns (at the bottom)
9. Choose Download Community Scenarios (at the top)
10. Choose Download a Campaign Package from the Internet (top right)
11. Type
http://bit.ly/BA88gjs44 into the URL box
12. Click the green tick
13. Back at the campaigns list, select "GJS44 v1.3 - June 10th" and click Download the Selected Campaign (bottom centre)
14. This should download everything that you need
15. Press X until you get back to the BA start screen and choose Multiplayer
16. Log in to Multiplayer as usual
17. Either go to the My Challenges tab and click the New Challenge arrow. This list will now show GJS'44 v1.3... including Biéville, Cristot, Hermanville & Pegasus Bridge...
18. Or go to the Accept Challenges tab and click the scenario that you're supposed to be fighting (if your opponent has already setup your game)
You can now play GJS'44 on any platform... Phew!!
If that doesn't make sense, please use the wonderful instructional
vid by fellow gamer IDjester, explaining how to download and setup GJS'44... Thanks mate. NICE!

Gents,
Sorry for the minor delays... Real Life got quite heavily in the way of setting you off for June 10th AM...
I've also made an attempt to bring GJS'44 into line with the new BA v2.10 update (which you should all use)
1. Compass now shows correctly for June 10th battles (red = north; for battles before June 10th red = west, but that's easy to fix, and I'll do it before June 11th)
2. We now use the BA v2.10's default swap function rather than rf900's (so it may not behave exactly the way that it used to... I recommend experimenting before playing your actual games)
3. We now use BA v2.10's default text flash ups which we're assured will NOT show to your opponent unless they have actual LOS on your units (keep an eye on this when you're watching enemy moves, and post here if you feel that you're seeing more than you're supposed to)
4. We're still using Merr's dual-sided MP deployment mod for now, until I can figure out how to configure the starting zones for both sides
Other than that, it's all pretty much as it used to be... so... Happy Hunting Lads/Kameraden!!
