Any decision on refining the Northern Mists eligible armies?

Let us see if there any general views.

It is proposed that Northern Mists be retained in the reduced set of themes rather than Eastern Front. David had already proposed that we should reduce the Northern Mists lists to the following:-

EARLY RUSSIAN 1494-1630
EARLY POLISH 1494-1576
EARLY LITHUANIAN 1494-1530
KALMAR UNION 1494-1523
EARLY DANISH 1524-1610
VASA SWEDISH 1523-1617
POLISH-LITHUANIAN COMMONWEALTH 1576-1631
EARLY GUSTAVAN SWEDISH 1617-1630

Are there any views on either aspect of this? Does anyone desperately want to keep Eastern Front in this year (if not we shall carry it over to next year). If we do keep Northern Mists should the list be narrowed down as suggested by D@vid?

Doesn't look a very appealing list of armies to me. I tend to prefer a wider choice.
Just my personal opinion.

That accords with my view Don but shall we need to ban the best Swede armies to ensure that?

ECW and Italian wars great for me in 15mm, but as cant do either of the other 2, except in 28mm I will probably miss out on them. Looking forward to Sept get together.

New session numbering which is as follows:-
1. September 12: ECW , Confederate Irish, Early Royalist, Later Royalist, Scots Royalist, Parliamentarian, New Model Army, Scots Covenanter
2. October 10: Italian Wars 1494 to 1550, Maximilian, French, Spanish, Italian, Venetian, all Italian options only
3. December 12: Northern mists, any army any date that has a Baltic coast.

Please check that this is OK by you all and let me know any changes. We can take up to 12 people at each event
