Simple fix - you have not used the same names for the scenario filename and the campaign.txt entry. I guess you changed at some point and didn't update.

One tip - please remove any spaces in file or folder names. There are certain areas of the code which could get confused by them. Use a _ if you want to space out words.

Looks good!

Cheers

Great, I'm glad it's a simple fix. I'll see it I can get it working. Thanks SO MUCH for taking a look at it. You guys really go the extra mile for your customers.

Was the zip file ok? Is that how I should have it when I distribute it?

EDIT: Worked great! Thanks so much! I'll work on getting the units in that I want and balance, then I'll start distributing!

Glad you are up and running!

Yup - share a single zip file with all the needed files inside, that people can just drop in.

I would recommend you rename the folder and campaign so they are more unique, I can imagine there will be a lot of MPMaps.zip files out there otherwise :). Insidius_MP_something I would suggest :).

Cheers

Sound advice, thank you.

I still have some polishing to do on it.

Hi, would love to try this out with you but...
I downloaded and unzipped and it appeared to work just fine but when I go to "My Challenges" it show a line like this:
"Missing_IDS_campaign_name" in yellow and no name beneath to click on.
Ha, I fiddled some before I clicked submit and when I took the folder "Maps by Insidius out of the MULTIPLAYER folder it worked.
It now show in the list. There is also a scenario by the name "Temp" with the somewhat odd description BLAH BLAH :D

Yeah, the temp map is just another map I'm working on, so I put it in the same campaign file. It shouldn't affect this one at all.

I created a game if you feel like trying it. :)

Let's go folks. The Allies aren't going to shoot themselves! :P

I have a game made online right now with the scenario waiting for a challenger. Download it and let's play a new MP map!

Not ready for MP quite yet, but wanted to thank you for the map and scenario. Give us an update when things pan out.

Things are good as of today, just need to get some actual playtesting and feedback in on this and some polish done so I can put out a new version.

Sorry to be late but i posted right before bedtime. The game won' let me accept your challenge. It says unknown scenario and I'm unable to click on it.
But I made a challenge of my own and that one shows up correctly. Lets rock!

Is your name IanDavidSmith in game? I didn't see your challenge, but someone started a game with me!

No, it's hidde :D
The game was picked up quickly and we are blowing each other up right now!
I can post a new one if you like. Can I take the Americans since I play the Germans in this one?

Ah, great to hear others are playing, too.

Sure, let's start one up. You can play whichever side you like.

Strange, I think we somehow have two different versions of the scenario. I was able to join ok and everything, though, so hopefully it works.

I'm wondering if you downloaded the version I put out before I fixed the objectives on the map...

I downloaded and installed late last night (in Sweden, that is) about 15-16 hours ago.

Well, sorry Hidde. For some reason, I can't play with you. It seems like my version won't play nice with your version (or anyone else's for that matter).

I haven't changed anything on my side, and I even downloaded the same version I have in the dropbox link just to be sure it was the same that everyone else has and it's still coming up as a different scenario version that yours. You didn't change ANYTHING on your end right (not even folder names)? Which Multiplayer folder did you put it in, the one in my documents, or the one in the actual BA install directory?

EDIT: AHA, yep, that was the problem. I think you put the game in your main install directory on not in the custom maps area in my documents. I'll have to write up some directions to make sure everyone gets their files to go in the same place so we can all play together!

It's where all the rest of the MP scenarios are, in the BA folder \Slitherine\Battlefield Academy\Battlefield Academy\Multiplayer
I have no folder at all in my documents with regard to BA.
My game with kkophonia moves along without a hitch. And it's fun to boot. I think you have done a great job :D
I just saw you sent a turn. I'll try to play and see what happens.
