The name of the account that you replied to suggests that he was banned recently and created a sockpuppet to tell everyone "I cant work on my mods any more".

I was looking through his post history earlier (I do that everytime someone gets banned because its interesting :P ) and although I couldn't find an instance of him actually getting told by a mod that he was banned, he was throwing insults around on the PzC2 Dev Diary threads not that long ago so I'm guessing it was something like that, maybe done in PMs or something?

Unless a higher authority pops up to explain, that's the best I can think of.

i banned the user a per rules, repeatable being asked to change his line of chat topics and language and goading and trolling of the developer of PzC2, it seems 2 warnings wasn't enough and it carried on to personal attacks, not something i wanted to do, but why should everyone else have to listen to one users opinion as if there always right and everyone else is wrong?

re editing edited posts, so once a mod had already edited it, going back and re editing it again, and again, making more work and making for more time and edits spent, doesn't help,...

to be a member is to remember to be civil and understand everyone has there own opinion and no one users opinion is any better or worse than anyone else's, if you wish to re apply for another account or have you're old one returned / enabled, and will abide by the rules, then please contact support and ask for a admin to re look at your ban and see if it was dealt with correct and see if they wish to give you another chance, i have no axe to grind and if you behave have no problem over turning the ban either, but that's not my call and not something personal either, i don't make the choices, i act on others who report a given post and act on what i find, or search for a given user on my list of those who are watched, and just keep notes and edit a odd reply, if found to be offensive or out of line, it takes many posts and warnings before i ban, and it's a last resort, not a first heavy handed power mad dash by someone who over posts as you said.

i know my badges here at time is confusing, as when i reply or edit someones post etc, is it me as a member or me as a mod as per staff list who is replying

memberlist.php?mode=team

i don't have the ability to give a user a 2 week cooling off period or i would have used it, instead of a full ban, something admin does have the power to do, so if the account gets re looked at maybe there is a chance of a 2nd chance, as both of the new 2nd account posts were good and honest posts, with no bad use of anything which was mentioned above, so i will forward the ban to admin myself and see if they can give him a 2 week cooling off period instead of a full forum ban, good luck and i hope a 2nd chance is given

Better lock up this thread then if the author of this topic has been banned.
