Thanks for all the replies that are already coming in. I won't be replying to all of them unless players are raising specific enquiries with me. The good news is that most of you who have not passed the 2nd Time Control so far will have passed it by Sunday evening.

Is anyone in touch with MorkinTheFree? I know he wanted to play in the tournament, but he was late in applying at the start.

I have made one change of player in the Late Antiquity section, with two more changes pending - one in Early Middle Ages and one in Biblical.

Faced with huge numbers of spears and skirmishers bearing down on them the Indo Skythians did what they do best and ran away, this time into into impenetrable forest where they cowered until nightfall.

Apologies to my opponent for a less than dynamic battle but sometimes damage limitation is all you can hope for with some matches.
