So, now that we've
hopefully dealt with the issue of Serbia being too strong early on, let me bring on another issue that's been bugging
me recently.
Both "
Austrian Siege Howitzers" and "
Organise Defense of Galicia" reduce AHs rail transport capability to 0, yet
both are playable (excluding the Schlieffen scenario where
Organise Defense of Galiciae is not allowed).
This stands in stark contrast to the efficiency of the narrow-gauge railway system used in most parts of AH which was seriously underdeveloped.

Playing the Moltke-Schlieffen Plan as the Entente vs. AI. The AI is able to move the army corps with Dankl attached on the first turn to the Serbian front and he is not removed from the unit for disobeying orders.
edit it has also moved von Kovesshaza to the Serb front as well.

I can't punish the AI for doing the same dumb thing as the player, because the AI can't be properly controlled and has not been taught history.

Not a problem Robotron. I've just never have had the AI send those two commanders to the Serb front in any game I've played before.
I have found a glitch in Moltke-Schlieffen Entente vs. CP. If the British Warning to Germany is triggered either by trying to get Belgium to yield or played from the event pool Britain is not declaring war when Germany invades Belgium.

What has happened? Why can't you login onto your old account?
Anyway, to answer your question: the whole "declaration of war" procedure is a complicated mess dating back to the original version of the game so there was a loophole in singleplayer mode vs. CP AI that caused the problem you encountered. I've rewritten that part now so it will work correctly.
I hope you can wait until I've gotten some sleep because it's very late here. ^^

Got the account fixed. I think it was something server side with Slitherine or I need to get some sleep and I was entering something incorrect.

I'm fine with that in principle. But need to see what that means for Austria if they get Hotzbammed.
Not sure if I’d be happy with that or not. Austria would have to get some major buffs to make up for only being able to play one of those events. Or if it must be added only add it to MP. It would probably upset the game versus the AI.

How about only restricting the ability to play both events on the same turn? This would display the deficiency of the rail system coping with both tasks at the same time. It would also give CP a tougher choice about what event to choose on turn 2.

Hello and thank you so much for this update! Unfortunately it is not working for me. I tried uninstalling and adding to a clean install as well. The problem is that if I try to start any campaign on any settings, the game starts to load, then freezes and crashes to desktop. I've never had this problem before. Here is the contents of my CGTW.log (it will not let me attach the file.)

in mp, BEF spawn strength doesn't match the strength of the convoy in the harbor. It comes down at 10 always. Not sure why.
For the Fatherland doesn't seem to show up in the pool again.
The German cavalry that gets redeployed in German Army redeploys loses its upgrade (it doesn't have industrial warfare)

That line of code is not present when launching a game on my PC using Steam.
I am currently playing the Moltke-Schlieffen Plan in multiplayer as the Entente against Umeu. I selected the Battle of Yser event and the hex that either deploys an army corps or damages a German unit if occupied was occupied by a German army corps. However the unit did not take any damage when the event was selected.
