In the Consolation match (for 3rd place) between Walvoord vs Kingshafter

We are closing in on a finish to the Return to Keiv. As both Axis and Allies (remember its a paired match) Walvoord appears to have a big lead with control of all but 1 victory center in each match, though that could change because its Kingshafter's turn and much can change in a round or two.

I think we have like 5 turns left on both of them.

What about your match up Iron Cross vs Red Star...there are 4 matches that should be being played

Kingshafter vs Walvoord has just begun our next paired match iron cross vs red star.

We are around turn 15 (out of 25) and we are fairly even.

Thanks for the update, I am a little sad to see this Tournament coming to an end soon, but I am super excited to see what Alberto and the boys at Slitherine have in terms of rewards for the success of these great players.

This Tournament organizing and layout has been a true joy in my life and am overwhelmed at the success and exposure this has brought to this great game.

I have an idea of what I would like to do for the 2018 Tournament, but I want to discuss with Alberto first to see what he thinks first before posting it here.

If he agrees, I will post here and give everyone a heads up to help prepare for the next great Panzer Corps Tournament...

You have managed to pull off the ultimate accomplishment as you have weeded your way through the competition, from the sands of Africa, to the Bocage in France, to the Steppes of Russia, and many places in between to come out the Winner of the 2017 Multiplayer Tournament!

Woken, Congratulations! on your 2nd place finish, having been there myself I remember the heartache, yet relief at having come this far, yet not being able to complete the distance. I share a kinship with you as that is where I found myself in 2016. Ah the good ole' days.

paulwalvoord, and I are currently playing in Partisan Uprising, where I am the French, learning the pain of facing the Italians in that match up. He is a fellow Christian and is as excited as this guy is for the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation! Nice to discuss the Sola's on a more regular basis.
It amazes me that he had never played multiplayer before this Tournament as he is quite skilled. Which shows me that there are many untapped resources that could enter the next Tournament and go the distance next time.

Alberto, let me know when I can pass on details for that next Tournament.

Which brings me to kingshafter, you too are to be commended at making it to the 4th place position as you to, were also a first time Multiplayer.

I believe Alberto and the team have some big graphic they want to do for this unfortunately their graphic designer went and got married, I think Alberto told me, so I will not stand in the way of that momentous event, as the world needs more children. I can only supply so many.

Finally, for this post, I want to say thank you to all participants and interested readers to this thread, I am overwhelmed with the interest and good vibes I have received for helping facilitate this event. It is truly humbling and has been one of the highlights of this year for me. I posted those games, for players to take a swipe at me and they were snatched up within a day, I am hard at work trying to play through all of those various games, it is a little overwhelming so please expect me to take 24 to 48 hours turnaround time in playing my turn as I have like 40 active games going now.

It is ok I asked for it, and it gives me an excuse to concentrate more on multiplayer for a while, although I have just started my first 43 mission on my Manstein playthrough of the Grand Campaign, I will put that on hold to give you guys a crack at me.
