Thanks for the nice feedback and yes: this mod took several years to complete and many players have crucially contributed to it with their feedback and solutions to problems.
Strangely enough I could not reproduce the crash upon ending the turn in the autosaveendturn you provided. Every single time the game would correctly proceed to the "game over" event , no clue what could be causing the crash for now but I'll keep trying and provide a bugfix once I discovered the issue.
*edit* during the 5th or so try the game actually crashed with the bug you reported, will see into it
Considering your questions:
1. no, there is no way to check for the opposite alliance factions morale or collapse points. You have to ascertain their status by the events that are occurring. I tried to implement a resource panel showing the enemy's resources if enough INTEL was gathered but failed to get it working.
2. in singleplayer vs CP AI the Entente convoys are not always attacked by real submarine units but rather these attacks are conducted by "ghost units" using an internal script to work around the deficient naval AI. The may sound cheap but is the only way to put some pressure on the Entente player as the AI is rather inept of efficiently using submarines against convoys.

Oh weird, sorry about the trouble reproducing! It was 2/2 for me, so didn't try any more after that.
Makes sense about the "ghost subs", was kinda wondering if something like that was going on.

Hi,
I was not able to play for few months and I am delighted by all these changes, thank you so much for your amazing job ! The game is much more difficult and realist right now. The game "Home before the leaves fall" is too much frustrating, it's horrible to have to stop after just these few turns haha
I have few interrogations :
I have played with Entente and when I want to add General Curie, I receive a notification meaning that I have to play him in Europe...I have tried to add him on a unit in England ant then in France and I continue to receive the notification. Do you know why ?
The checkbox to make US enter into the war in 1915 is a really good idea, would that be possible to do the same with other countries ? Like Norway or Denmark who are almost never playable, it would be fun ! I really appreciate the game "Lamps go out in Europe" where everybody wants to fight, it create a really new type of game which is refreashing it after all these years playing it.

Glad you're still enjoying my mod.
I'm not planning to include more game options to have other nations join the war earlier than usual because the effort would be too big to rework the whole game option selection screen.

I've tried to reproduce your crash but nothing happened and the game continued to the next turn.
I will not try again - it could take ages before the bug happens again because of all the random things that can happen between turns.
If the crash happens again this is what you should do:
find the file called ctgw.log which should be in your Documents folder, so look in "My Documents\My Games\Commander The Great War"
NOTE: This log is overwritten every time you start the game. Please make a copy of the ctgw.log right AFTER the crash BEFORE reloading the game.
Put the ctgw.log into a .zip or .rar archive and attach it to your post using the forum's "upload attachment" feature.
You can find the upload button in the bottom left corner of the reply box after you click on "full editor and preview".
Alternatively you can just copy/paste and post the last few lines of the "error" message at the end of the ctgw.log, usually this holds enough information to fix a bug.

Okay, good. I can see that the crash is caused by an oversight that I already repaired in the last bugfix.
So IF you have already applied the bugfix that I uploaded a few hours ago then the bug should not have happened again.

Hi Robotron,
Just played a new game and the game crashed a new time.
I attached the ctgw file. It crashed just before starting the new turn so maybe this because of the convoys ?

I have been able to play few games and no crash to report !
The game is actually really good, realist and diversified with all the scenarios.
If you want to work again on it someday, I think that creating more scenarios should create new challenges and give a new game infact to continue to enjoy it, match after match

Thanks for the accolades Lepetitkipetchi but I don't plan to expand the game anytime soon because I'm quite satisfied with its current state, in my opinion the project is complete at this point.

You can only embark troops from friendly ports. If you make an amphibious landing into enemy territory, for example at Gallipoli, you can't move back to sea before capturing an enemy port first.
I've also uploaded a small bugfix for an issue with a late war Entente event, see opening post. You can safely apply it to games that are already in progress.

Yep i know i need a port to leave a zone or land.
But i see some times when i play single play as cp and ai land 3-4 unit in macadoni.
Then i think this is an event?

Yes, this is caused by the "
Macedonia Warzone" event, manual page 133:
In singleplayer vs. Entente AI a mix of four British and French infantry or garrisons spawns around Salonika and until Greece joins the Entente, at the beginning of each following turn a French or British unit will spawn in Salonika if Salonika is unoccupied.
