After multiple times having a partially finished deployment or turn uploaded but then apparently lost by the server, I have now lost an entire turn of mine and my opponent. I had played part of turn 3 as the Germans, but had to go do something else. When I returned to play, it downloaded a save from the middle of turn 2. I am getting really sick of the lack of support!
Exactly what happened to Brausebad and I in Round #10. We reported the problem in this thread, in the Tech support forum, and I even directly PM a Slitherine member. 0 answer.
This is sad, but I'm afraid you will have to re-play your turns...

I am the opponent and I confirmed the situation described above yesterday, received an answer in the support thread today ... that our problem will continue to be reported
Since I'm only concerned with playing and not with placings, I continued playing straight away, I think we're currently on move 5

In the current game as Russian if you hold 1 objective at the end do you get win bonus?

You should be getting a 500 point bonus if you manage to defend 1VC. If you lose them all, the game should end immediately with German victory.

In addition to server crashes that reset rounds, normal crashes, poor scoring and really substandard support, you really don't want to get involved anymore.

I think there is easy solution:
a) more points should be given to the person who played with the one who stopped:
Points for victory of game + all points for taken victory hex and 50-80% for the other victory hex, sum multiplied by the number of remaining rounds.
b) person who stop play should get only half of points which he earn to this point.
I think the person who stopped playing should get 0 points for first time and be banned from tournament for second time.
In this way, even if sick, an honest player would just end turn and let the opponent win, in order not to be penalized. There is just no excuse not being able to finish the game in this way in 20 days time.

I don't want to talking in vain here. I think everything has already been written. I'll probably write something more when this farce called the tournament is over. However, I don't understand how you can, knowing that there are problems with accruing 500 points for winning with defenders, do nothing about it for a few months ...
I will also highlight a scoring curiosity.
Panzerfater 0 475 475
Takashii 1652 1704 3356
It stinks of setting, but who cares. You can brag about the gold medal you have won in front of your friends. The organizer will do nothing about it anyway.

Scores (of both games) are obviously showing that Panzerfater clicked all turns without doing anything.
On the other hand, it might be interesting to remember that almost everybody in this forum complained about the "no-show rules", saying that granting 2000 points to the active player was unfair, and that the active player should get full points. kissofpain, in his post just above, explicitly proposed that an honest player who can't play correctly (sickness, IRL important stuff, etc) should auto-click all the turns so the other player won't be penalized.
So is it obvious cheating or just an honest player who is applying the rule everybody here is claiming ?

How dare you to apply logic and common sense Trepko?
Bottom line is a lot of people need to vent their anger (guilty) and a lot of people are quick to judge. All that because of numerous issues and poor communication from the organizers. Something that started as a major event, VERY quickly disappeared from their radar. Nothing mentioned in their video chats, not even a quick summary/recap on Steam...nothing at all...

Hello, What I do wrong In last tournament round that You say that „Stincky”I from the beggining of the tournament learn a game, fight with many good players and have few points, and sometimes I have luck and win easy some games, and still I learning. I am more single player man. In last turn I have oponent who I think only do next turn dont do moves, and I win, and after this this is my foult and better to surrender a game, becouse someone is not playing corrrectly? Dont understand.

And one more think from me, for me all rounds is nice and interesting and I will play all rounds In full of my potencial, with more and more nice moves, becouse of learning. But I see in few last turns that oponent who try to be in first 3 go under 50 places dont feel the same, have 0 motivation to play becouse is not possible now to be in top 3 with few lose games. When I was starting tournament my minimum what I like to accomplished is first 100, better place is more and I will be filling more happy. More strange for me was that few mounths back when I have 3 losing games and go back in 130 place I have oponent who crash me in few turns, this was amazing to see, but strange that was so low in ranking. I talk with this player, and he was doomed from the start, penalized for 3 first players dont play dont show up.

Takashi, thanks for explanation. If it was not setting, please accept my apologies. I got carried away anger at the mess in the tournament. Although I believe that your opponent behaved inappropriately. I know that was strange situtaion and I also don't know what I would do. It is way that this situation should be described in set of rules for tournament. Oh wait... we don't have any official regulation. Shame...
Is many situtation, where is is not know what activities will be fair. I give two examples from my matches.
1. Playing as atttacker, and I totaly losing. I have maybe few units left without chance to make seriously defence and even kill a enemy units. It was rather certain that the opponent would easy defeat all my units, no matter what I will do. What should I do?
- Only clicks on end of turn.
- Still playing normally even though it didn't make any sense.
- Lead the game to the end of the match as quickly as possible by attacking strong units and move the rest of the units to an unfavorable position.
- Try to run away with the remaining units to the edge of the board as long as possible, extending the game and annoying the opponent.
2. Last battle. Playing as allies side. Five turns to end. I'm approaching the victory point. Estimates that I will win in 2-3 turns and suddenly the opponent makes some kind of attacks but withdraws the army from one of the victory point. What should I do?
- Continue turn normaly, attacks enemy and conquer victory point and end the game.
- Contact with oponnent and try explain situation, before any move.
- Secure the victory but wait with win 2-3 turns befe end the game..
- Don't make any movements and future turns.
Probably the other players had similar ambiguous situations, maybe they could share them.

I enjoyed the tournement. If slitherine is looking for new scenarios, review the one's in John Tiller's campaign series. Those are the best collection of ww2 historical scenarios.

I agree.. especially with the penalty you stated for the person that stopped playing. I think we all know that the majority of the time people have stopped have not been do to valid reasons like being sick.
