I removed a certain 'trigger active at start' checkmark from the objective triggers and it seems this fixed the auto-victory.
At least I could move through the first 4 turns without the scenario abruptly ending.
I'll post new versions of my scenarios with the version number in the file-name to hopefully avoid any confusion

Marauder trouble on Eastern Solomons, they refuse to take off. Shall I shoot them out of hand (and see if I can get some 'money' back) or can it be fixed?

Oh that one. I'll give it a try, wasn't too successful in "Watchtower" the Marauder disappeared the turn after I applied it.
Might have more luck this time, seeing they're on the ground.

PS. .. Just remembered, had to reinstall OoB this morning - forgot "units"

These are great Erik - we really appreciate your work on them.
Any chance you might be willing to make a 3vAI version of one or two of them (if that's not too hard to do)?

Thanks again!

Adding a new 'faction' in between existing ones is a major pain. It screws up all victory objectives and triggers/events which will be linked to the wrong faction. Factions need to be adjacent in the editor to be on the same team.

I added those fighters as a courtesy to you. The Japanese bombers got a real beating last time.
And these new fighters were available at Lae, Truk and Rabaul, so why not let them join the fun.

I see - so it sorta' needs to be designed with that in mind from the outset.
Thanks for letting us know.

At least until there is a way to wedge a new faction between two old ones and the rest of the scenario is unaffected :D

I win
As we are only a few turns in, I think there is something amiss.
Shall we start again with 5.1?

How can the same scenario show as not installed on one users challenge but installed with another users challenge? :?

I copied 2 scenarios to my scenarios directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Order of Battle Pacific\Order of Battle - Pacific_Data\Resources\Scenario), but when I view the open challenges list games with these scenarios are red and the text says they are not installed on my PC...is there anything else I need to do to install them?

Here are the specific scenarios I downloaded:
1v1 Coral Sea 1942 v5.0
1v1 Wake Island 1941 v5.0

Note: I'm using the Steam version.

I created an open challenge with 1v1 Coral Sea 1942 v5.0, but nobody accepted yet so I'm not sure if they are able to join the game. I also created an open challenge with one of the standard scenarios and someone joined after a couple minutes (and it seems to be playing fine).

I tried rebooting and that didn't help.

Thanks!

Im having a similiar problem. I can host a game and am currently in turn two of the Coral Sea scenario. However when I try to join a game I get red letters and a note saying that the scenario is not loaded on my computer. I tried joinng your (erics) watchtower game but could not. However, if you look you will see Im waiting for someone to join the exact same scenario.
