Haha, very interesting. I personally am of the belief that the Americans would not have stopped fighting until the invaders were pushed out one way or another, but that could just be my American bias. We don't really know, since the USA hasn't been invaded since the War of 1812. Maybe if the industrial centers on the east and west coasts had been taken... Eh, it's all speculation anyhow. Fun stuff though.

Nice writeup! Though in this game in July 46 it would rather be a totally Soviet-dominated Communist Republics of Europe, with probable nationalist uprisings in Britain and North America as the Axis homelands were taken.

Hehehe well since i made the story in my story the Germans were able to repulse all soviet attacks and peace was signed.

Interesting story. The map is very close to the North America explored in Philip K. Dick's The Man in the High Castle, in which Germany and Japan win World War 2 and quickly enter into a Cold War-like tension between themselves. Only difference is that the rump United States remained weak (in this reality, Roosevelt was assasinated and the New Deal never helped pull the US out of the Depression) and more or less under the sway of the Axis powers.

It is indeed very fun to dwelve into the what might have been. If id make a book about it it would be about the Us trying to smuggle an Atom Bomb into germany to incenerate a couple of cities to get the Germans to get the hell out.

Jimmy Doolittle would be piloting a B-29 launched from some area in Africa or from a battered surviving US CV to drop a bomb on Berlin and get the germans on the negociating table. The book would be called "30 seconds on Berlin"

Its impressive to finish off the Western Allies before attacking Russia.....but as I remember in CEAW that was impossible to happen cuz Russians was automatically attacking on you in the autumn of 1941....When do the Russians automatically attack you in the Grand Strategy expansion 2.0????

Something interesting I learned about Jimmy Doolittle in an episode of, "The Secrets of World War II". The day after the Tokyo (Doolittle) raid in April 1942, he was promoted from Lt. Col to Brigadier General (by passing full Col). In Nov 1942 he was promoted to Major General and given command of the 12th USAF in the Mediterranean. As commanding General he would routinely fly along on reconnaissance flights out of Gibraltar (if I remember correctly). The issue was that he was only a handful of people that knew about Ultra and there was concern that if his flight was shot down and he was captured that Ultra might be comprised.

I just discovered this fascinating AAR last week. It makes for pretty gripping reading. I applaud Max's noble opponent for playing it through right to the bitter end.
