At last, Americans withdraw, and "breakout" wasn't succeed. Germans hold the ground and... I'm waitnig for round 2.

i have the same issues sometimes - i need to close all other open windows - no browser or steam any kind open programm is bad for it ..

will writing this i have a idea i never tried befor - window mode / ill run in fullscreen - need to check that.

I`ve tried windowmode today - it seems that this is way more stable then playing in fullscreen.

You need to open a game to go Windowmode/settings right side but it saves the windowmode for other games.

I have learned that this happens sometimes because I have too many other items open other than the game, especially if I have just sent an email for some reason.

Just shut down the game and reopen to start the turn over and you should hopefully see everything happen

I have had the same issue for years even though I have decent hardware (GTX980) but previously when I reloaded the game (pre-tourney) I would get arsy emails from Slitherine/whoever runs the servers suggesting I was cheating. What is the official word on this?

paulwalvoord came out on top as the Allies.

But let the record show that it was an extremely tough and well fought contest.

I guess i'm suppose to post my match results here vs a well played game by HuraganI. I won a Decisive battle as Germans that took me all the way to the last turn 17 to pull it off.

The game between afroening and me endet with the allies on their way back to England. Or the USA. Or wherever.

Victory for me.

Today also my battle with Alexrus ended. I have to congratulate his winning German forces as they managed to halt my Allied attack and even push me back to the landing sites. Well played and good luck for the rest of the tournament (to both of us ).

PS: Thanks Owi for the help with the technical issue. I have switched to Windowed mode and so far so good.

Warhomer (axis) and Whitescale (allies) complete with axis win in round 9.

Fierce fighting back and forth with powerful allied thrust in the middle that almost carried the game.

Also a sneaky allied parachute drop behind axis lines, but the transport plane was discovered at the last moment.

After making initial gains at the beginning it ended up a hard fought slugging match between us where he was gradually starting to push me back.
