That really is fantastic news. I've only been playing FoG for four months, but it seems I have been waiting ages for this. I can't imagine how it must feel for you guys who have been playing for so much longer.

Dan must be a real hero to have managed this all on his own; the work he must have put in. I for one am very grateful, Dan. Thanks.

Best Wishes

Mike

With 7 victories and a draw in his 9 matches, Peter is now in an unassailable position at the top of the table. Congratulations! :D

We are nearly at the half way stage now!

Hello everyone,

I will be sending out "polite reminders" today if you have not registered three results in any section that you have entered. There is a short list of players who this will apply to. I will also put up some statistics shortly on match completion to give you all an idea of how things are progressing. The overall picture is excellent, there are just one or two divisions that need to get a move on now.

Match Completion Rates (as of right now)

Classical Antiquity
A - 27/45
B - 21/45
C - 36/45 :D
D - 37/45 :D

Late Antiquity
A - 16/45  (get on with it! )
B - 34/45 :D
C - 34/45 :D
D - 24/45

Early Middle Ages
A - 24/45
B - 36/45 :D
C - 23/45

High Middle Ages
A - 22/45
B - 26/45
C - 28/45
D - 33/45 :D

So pretty good as you can see. Any completion rate of 20/45 or more is on schedule so just Late Antiquity A needs to get a move on now. Closing date will be Sunday December 14th (not the 10th as I may have told one or two players before).

If anyone has any problems please send me a PM.

Div. B

Epicouros (Early North African Fatimids) 15/33 beat sirlancelot22 (Ghaznavids) 29/23.

Numbers told, especially as the Ghaznavids decided to split up. Their elephants were scary opponents for the Fatimid cavalry (and succeeded in routing the Fatimid general), until they could be ganged up upon and taken in the rear.
