I am looking for a reliable player to play as the Axis for a game of GS 4.0. Rules can be debated but at this point in time I believe would be mostly standard. I'm looking for a somewhat new to moderately experianced player as I haven't played GS in a long time, however, I have been active playing PBEM games of SC with friends so I'm not new by any means to the wargame. In the end, the biggest ask would be that once you start the game you finish it, come what may, unless you surrender in-game. Role playing is always encoraged. And as always, no cheating of any kind, including reloading.

Thanks for the reply Jimbonsx - JB is already giving me a good what for with my mistakes from not remembering how GS works. I’ll not be playing another round of GS, as compared to Strategic Command or Warplan this wargame is quite rigid and showing its age in terms of systems design and some realism factors.

Hallo Rtuduror, I'm interested. I normally play mirror PBEM but I'm fine just playing 1 game, as Allies. Have you got the updates that fix the Egypt surrender spawns and the no-builds-on-Med-Islands?
I have played 4 pbem games, 2 each side but a lot of hotseat. In the UK so similar time zones.

Hi guys, I only played GS 3.0 so far (but am pretty experienced there), is 4.0 really worth it? In terms of game design I was not convinced the added complexit pays off.
But perhaps you can convince me. Otherwise I'd be happy to play GS 3.0, whatever side.

@wizard.1fx or @Jimbonsx or @Metaspace, are you interested in a game? I think I would like to play through one more full campaign of GS 4.0 before moving onto Warplan, even just to compare it to SC. Allied side for myself, I'll host if anyone wants to join. -8 UTC.

Yes, GS 4.0 is an add-on onto the Gold version, and you need your original serial to allow installation.
