I just wanted to say thanks again to Borger, Jim and Ronnie for their previous and continuing work on the mod. It seems to have generated a lot of interest in the game. The Slitherine forum has much more traffic in the past month than I have ever noticed in the past.

Thanks also to Slitherine for their acceptance and support of the mod as well.

All of that seconded :) Playing the mod is almost like playing a new game. Strategies that worked on vanilla won't work on the mod, and vice versa. I love both games, and I really feel like I got my money's worth on this one.

There's no going back to vanilla when you start playing the Mod. It's THAT much better in all respects - esp. in the realism department. Having people like BJR around is a blessing for every game company! - and keeps a game a living organism. Cheers!

I can only Echo the sentiments here - It is a great ride to play the mod with the House rules, and the extra Forts and cities make the game "Mr Toad's Wild Ride"! :-)
