Swords and Scimitars is out now.

The second DLC for Field of Glory II: Medieval takes you into conflicts that have inflamed South-Eastern Europe and the Middle East from 1040 AD to 1270 AD.

Play some of the bloodiest battles of the Crusades. Relive the final flowering and the decline of the Byzantine empire as well as the Mongol invasion of the middle east, which was only halted by the Mamluk Egyptians.

Swords and Scimitars comes with 20 more nations and factions and 35 more units.

Brand new units include: early and later Templar and Hospitaller knights, Turcopoles, Turcoman cavalry, Indian horse archers, Axe-armed Varangian guards, and more.

Relive 8 more historical scenarios covering key engagements of the period as well as 4 more historically-based campaigns covering major leaders and conflicts of the era: Alexios Komnenos, The First Crusade, Manuel Komnenos, Saladin.

Moreover, the DLC will be added to the Field of Glory II: Medieval - Complete Bundle, already containing Field of Glory II: Medieval and Reconquista with an additional 20% discount for a week.

Answer the call to arms, the battle never stops in Field of Glory II: Medieval - Swords and Scimitars.

Could we add a proportion of Teutonic Knights to the Crusader 1155-1291 AD list(Maybe can split an 1198-1291 AD which have Teutonic Knights? As they became a military order in 1198 AD)?They owned some castles in the Holy Land(Most of those in the Levant)and they took parts in some campaigns(As well as defending their own strongholds). Also Acre was their headquarter(And the place where they founded)until fall to the Mamluk's hand in 1291 AD.

I guess you bought FoG:M base game on the store page of Slitherine.
If so, go to 'My page' on slitherine.com. You can get a Steam key of the FoG:M for free in 'My Games'.
Then you can install FoG:M on Steam for free by clicking on Games\Activate a product on Steam and copy/pasting the Steam key.
Then you'll be able to buy the dlc on Steam.

True. The question is how many knights and sergeants could they field? They were a very minor military order in the Holy Land.

See "https://frenchofoutremer.ace.fordham.ed ... -outremer/"

I guess we could give them 1 unit.

Yes,one is enough I think, just as a historical representive unit, like in the Hungarian list.I never said they're numerous and could be a major military force in the Holy Land.

That may be the solution. Also just got back from the store and used one of the credit cards and no problem. Got back and tried it again and Matrix/Slitherine system continues to reject it!!!

FWIW I think you could justify a unit of Teutonic knights in the Crusader lists. One of the reasons the battle of Homs always struck me as notable was that all the Military Orders were present - Templars, Hospitallers, Teutonics and St Lazarus. With regard to the latter I couldn't really justify adding a unit of these to my 15mm army so I guess the same applies to asking Pat to add it to the digital one!

You might be wrong with something about the Homs.Only the Hospitallers involved in the Second Battle of Homs in 1281 AD,the other two battles happened at Homs(1260 AD and 1299 AD)were nothing to do with the Crusaders.I guess you might wanna mean the Battle of La Forbie in 1244 AD,which the Templars,Hospitallers,Saint Lazarus and Teutonic Knights involved. My source said the Teutonic Knights fielded 400 in La Forbie and 397 of them were killed,so now I think add two units of them to the list is also ok,but can't be more than that. Also it's a relatively late period, the Teutonic Knights in earlier period could field that much or not in the Holy Land is still in doubt(Especially the Northern Crusade was more prior since 1226 and they're lack of men in more earlier period).

You are quite right, I did mean La Forbie and have no idea why I typed Homs. Weird, esp. as its (Homs) is not a battle I know a great deal about.
