Re: Team Event Biblical to Renaissance
If I understand the Table correctly the Challenger of each Round is the Left Column so Round 1 Challengers are the Westerners, Round 2 the Easterners ?

Brian, I expect better from you. That's exactly what it says at the top of the columns.KiwiWarlord wrote: ↑Thu Mar 31, 2022 9:25 pmIf I understand the Table correctly the Challenger of each Round is the Left Column so Round 1 Challengers are the Westerners, Round 2 the Easterners ?

There are three exceptions to the left column rule BrianKiwiWarlord wrote: ↑Thu Mar 31, 2022 9:25 pm

FOG2 round 2 Your wonderful self vs markleslie = you launch the challenge
FOGM round 2 lascar vs markleslie = lascar launches the challenge
P&S round 2 Your personable self again vs markleslie again = you again launch the challenge
Sorry, to be a little untidy but this was a table formatting problem due to some eastern players having to launch two challenges. Hence, I understand your question and as the English language always has exceptions I also feel vindicated!

Re: Team Event Biblical to Renaissance
The draw has been done.
Key facts
I hope my table is understandable. Good luck to all. Let the games begin (that is...at 1200 GMT 3.4.22)
Key facts
- The draw was random except for the following
- If a Eastern player was chosen for the extra match within each round they couldn't be subsequently chosen until all eastern players had been chosen.
- I removed myself from the extra games for P&S to give myself time to collate results and interesting observations and statistics
I hope my table is understandable. Good luck to all. Let the games begin (that is...at 1200 GMT 3.4.22)

Re: Team Event Biblical to Renaissance
I have a query concerning my two P&S games, the game that I am least familiar with.
I'm assuming Danish Imperial 1523-1542 is Danish 1523-1542 in Extra Nations V3?
Ottoman 1550-1650? In Extra Nations V3 there are six lists that cover this period but none are that specific list.

So, take that as a yes.(as in Danish from the Pro-Imperial list rather than the Anti-imperial list) I haven't checked to see if they're different but I'm sure they'd be the same. (probably just didn't know what side they were on)...I would like Danish Imperial 1523-1542.

Re: Team Event Biblical to Renaissance
Yes, Brian. If your list covers the year 1649, then it's legal under the cut off of 1650
Just a note to clarify the Bonus where each team may change one match-up within each period (not round) This enables a team to substitute a drawn opponent and army for a more desirable match because the random draw meant a player is fighting the same opponent too many times over the tournament, or for any other reason they deem advantageous.

Re: Team Event Biblical to Renaissance
I want to issue my challenges and set up the games.
Where do I find the game parameters for army size, terrain, ect..!
I just want to make sure I do the set up right!
Thanks, Don/gort7078

This is the only explicit guidance I've seen.GDod wrote: ↑Sat Mar 26, 2022 2:33 amWe'll fit you in Mark. I'm sure we can rustle up another player to even it out. Choose your region and lists, and either PM me or post them on the threadmarkleslie wrote: ↑Fri Mar 25, 2022 11:39 pm If there is an odd number I'd be happy to even it up.
Questions:
Is it possible to look at army lists in Pike & shot without setting up a multiplayer game?
What is the current end date for the P&S lists?
What will be the point limit/ map size on matches?
- You can go through the motions of creating a multiplayer skirmish then just bin it (on the left of your challenges screen)
- I think the latest end date for some lists are around 1690's
- Games are medium/ pot luck but can be changed on agreement with your opponent. you may want agricultural (as some terrain can create an undesirable game for both players)
Re: Team Event Biblical to Renaissance
The game parameters are detailed on the campaign map published previously Don. Third and fourth paragraph below states:-
You will need to consult table1 for the match-ups (who challenges, the lists and opponents)Medium/Pot luck terrain (unless by agreement)
Games can be launched all at once, round by round, or in any order by the challenger but may be taken up as desired by the challengee.

Gavin,
the English invasion of the Baltic Empire of the Teutonic Order has commenced. We have sent a lightly equipped mobile force to harass and destroy the plodding forces of repression and Catholic orthodxy.

Re: Team Event Biblical to Renaissance
Gavin,
Thanks for all your efforts in organising this can we just make things slightly more difficult by proposing a swap. It seems unfair that Dooley50 should have to be thrashed 3 times by Carpenkm so we would like the fourth round game between Dooley50 and carpenkm swapped with my game with Kiwiwarlord. Just to share the pain amongst the Eastern team you understand. My Grenadines 1232 can take on Dooley's Danish 1320 and Brian's Crusaders 1155 can take on Carpenkm's English.
Carpenkm is still having problems with the Storm of Arrows DLC but hopefully that will be resolved soon.
If this is not clear please let me know.

You may now lodge challenges (To make the most of the weekend). The best of luck to all.
The plodding forces of repression and Catholic orthodoxy are hurrying as fast as we can Andre!
