Secundus' Factions mod v1.4

Adds 12 new factions: the Order of Sacred Rose, Kerrigan's Zerg Swarm, North Sea Alliance, Al Falah, American Reclamation Corporation, House Atreides, Black Heart Kabal, Slavic Federation, People's African Union, Pan-Asian Cooperative, Kavithan Protectorate, and Chungsu to the game.

I also merged my mod with blackarchon's SMAC factions mod and made some changes.

Installation
Download and extract this file to the following path: "C:\Users\<your_username>\AppData\Roaming\Proxy Studios\Pandora Beta" (or "C:\Users\<your_username>\AppData\Roaming\Proxy Studios\Pandora" if you aren't using Pandora Beta)
Note: You won't be able to see this folder with the Windows default settings - you have to enable "show hidden files" before.
Pro tip: Hit <Windows>+R on your keyboard, then enter "%appdata%" and press Enter - this will get you faster to "C:\Users\<your_username>\AppData\Roaming\"!

Crashes Help:
Add Pandora.exe, PandoraServer.exe, autorun.exe to the exception list of your antivirus.
Run Pandora.exe, PandoraServer.exe, autorun.exe as an administrator.

Future plans:
Apparently it is possible to nullify fungus pollution malus for a faction ability. I would appreciate help in coding this.
Add more factions.
Continue editing SMAC factions diplomacy lines.
Might add new techs and buildings from SMAC or rename vanilla techs to SMAC appropriate ones.
Might rebalance and change SMAC factions.
Might rebalance and change my factions.
Add localization in other languages.

Amphibious Former doesn't start with Gauss armor anymore.
Reduced debuff from -20% credits from taxes to -10% credits from taxes

Coasts now only provides +1 food

Have you checked whether the AI is aware of the Atreides' desert-farming-bonus? (Basically: Do they build farms on desert tiles or not?)

Hi Xilmi! I ran a quick test and sadly no. Atreides AI plant forests instead of farms in desert plains and hills.
Your comment spurred me to add conditions to the Farm Feature to add landscapePriority for Atreides AI but testing shows it didn't work. Any help regarding that would be appreciated.

I also attached screenshots of my conditions.

Added smiling versions of SMAC/SMAX human factions, thanks to u/LabStunning2538 and faceapp.
Removed extra spacing in SMAC/SMAX factions desc.
Nerve Stapling now costs 64 production instead of 1, now lasts for 15 turns instead of 10, now increases morale by 12 instead of 4, now decreases research and growth by 40%, added proper description for Nerve Stapling in Compendium/Data Links, replaced image for Nerve Stapling

Very cool!

Although I recommend you consider using ModDB for your file storage (it's free too) as cloud sites like mediafire and rapidshare etc have a habit of timing out and disappearing within a few years. Also it'll put many more eyes on your hard work as until your thread this forum hadn't been posted in for over 6 years so there's next to no one here anymore so at some point Slitherine may retire it.

True, I been meaning to add alternate download links like dropbox and mega just in case something happens to mediafire. I also need to add Xilmi ai mod too to the list. Using ModDB to host the mod is interesting idea too but I need to finish v1.4 and take updated screenshots of the mod first. It will probably done in about a month or so.

I also intended to post the mod to civfanatics but I was unsure whether to post it on the Alpha Centauri subforum, necro the Pandora: First Contact thread in All Other Games subforum or start a new thread in All Other Games subforum. Since you posted recently on the Pandora thread, I may start posting mod updates there too!
