Elamites

Post by w_michael »

I haven't tried them but they seem centered around bow fire. Has anyone had success with this army list?

Well there are Elamites and there are Elamites aren't there? Which of the 4 lists did you have in mind?

I started the Sargon the Great campaign and one of the scenarios is a surprise attack by Elam where the Akkad army is below strength. I won handily as Sargon, without the full army, so I wondered about the viability of the Elamite army. I assume that it was the earliest army list.

I just finished a MP game of Elamite 815-539 BC vs, Assyrian 890 - 476 BC. It was fun, but the Elamite archers were overwhelmed by the Assyrians.
