Gladiator Gold Steam Achievement bugged ?

So recently I played with a fellow achievement hunter going for the MP achievements. Everything was going fine until the Gladiator Gold one, which popped for him but not me. I finished a couple more games but still nothing. Going through the steam forums, I saw that that problem also affects other people. Is there a fix of some sort ? Thanks in advance.
