Multiplayer Resign = Draw?

Just "finished" a multiplayer game in which my opponent was 1 break point away from defeat (I was about ten) when he "resigned", so I received a draw instead of a victory.

Is this how the mechanic is supposed to work, and isn't this a rather pathetic maneuver in a friendly game?

This happened to me twice. I think it was the same guy both times. I was 2-3 break points from winning, and ended with a draw because my opponent resigned. A bit silly, I agree.

A resignation should not be a draw. If I thought it was a draw , I would play through.

A resignation should not be a draw and I certainly never thought it was one This should be fixed. But asinine threats never go over well.

For some reason, a resignation counts as a draw, or at least that's what the game told me. Hopefully the devs will chime in and say why this is the case, because it does not make sense.

Threats?? I hadn't planned on airing this on the forum, but I simply told you that I didn't want to play with people that don't play to the end, although I assumed that you knew that a resignation counts as a draw for some reason.

Lets keep it calm and civil people. It's on the list, it just has not been tackeled yet.
