This morning had about 6 games in my 'inbox'. Two DAG games with 76mm came up with this error, the remainder played normally.

It just means you were unable to connect to the server. Try again and it shoudl be fine.

The message appeared when i had connected to the Server and tried to access two of the games. The other four games loaded fine. I've since re-connected and tried the two games from 76mm without success, but will have another go

I don't think the problem is with Geordietaf's server. I believe that when I sent these games, I received an error message saying something like "not enough data sent". But the games seemed to go to him, so I hoped that all was well, but apparentlly not so! Any way to resurrect these games? I could replay the turn, but they are now "his turn", so I can't seem to play them...

it seems like if there is this kind of error, the game should simply not be sent, and then I could replay and hopefully replay the turn and send with no error.

76mm this is a new error for me - can you tell me exactly what you saw on screen? It definitely should not pass the games to the other player if it failed to upload them so we need to work out why it happened in this case.

Happened to me right now.
First sent a turn to 76mm and no problem but the two games after that gets this message. First something about error while getting instance and then error (code-1)
Tried several times. Even rebooted my computer...

I am getting this error as well, on only 1 of 9 games I am currently running. It happened with the very first turn sent to me by Pantherboy. the error message reads "Sorry, an error occured while getting the game instance. Network connection code -1"

This happened last evening, and still persists this morning, about 8 hours later.

All my other games are fine.

Ok thanks - we'll look in to it. If you can list spceicifc games with both players and the scenario we'll be able to locate them on teh server and check out what the problem is.

I'm having exactly the same problem in a DAG game vs Deeter. I'm playing later Carthaginians (Africa), deeter is playing Mid-Republican Romans.
My other games are running fine. These are not DAG games though.

If you have a MP issue can you confirm is you have Rise of Rome installed. If not do you have the latest patch, version 1.1.0?

Thanks
Keith

I have the latest patch installed, and also Rise of Rome shortly thereafter.
I'm experiencing the problem in a DAG (thus using RoR) game vs deeter.
I'm Carthaginian (Africa), deeter is mid-republican Roman.

It seems people are having the problem both in DAG games and historical scenarios though.

I assume everyone is using the latest patch, as it seems only multiplayer games are concerned, which you can only play if you have the latest patch, if I'm not mistaken.

Not sure if everyone involved has RoR, But I certainly do.
