We have also simultaneously released the 1.50 update with a host of new features and tweaks. To get the update just check for updates from the launcher or you can download a stand alone update installer up to 1.5.1 from

May 1940. Following the invasion of Poland, Germany opens the western front and invades France. It’s the Blitzkrieg, a new and dangerous form of warfare based on speed and aggression using concentrated mechanized forces to pierce the enemy lines and encircle them.

After taking the wargaming market by storm with its revolutionary fast paced gameplay system, Battlefield Academy is back with this amazing add-on pack. Players will be able to take command of German forces and lead them to the conquest of Paris.

It is not listed at the Matrix store yet.

Does it matter if I bought BA at Slitherine or Matrix, through DR or Plimus?

It is exactly the same version from both stores. It looks like we may not get the game out on the Matrix store till Monday as Erik is snowed under with the Distant Worlds expansion pack release.

I have bought BA on the Matrix store, and now I can buy Blitzkrieg France on the Slitherine store if I can't wait till Monday ?

Yes it is the same installer on both sites. We only build one installer.

hmm, very confusing. i bought the extension, but installed the update first. than i installed (or should i say tried to) the downloaded extension. but it never installs it as a pop up window tells me its already installed and up to date. so, when i star the game there is no extension. any ideas?

Check the campaigns list and you will see Blitzkrieg France listed. Also the new MP battles in Multiplayer.

It seems to be confusing some people. The message is correct, at that point you are indeed installed and working. The install process is so fast (if you have updated) that I think it's confusing people.

But once you see that message you will be able to go in and play all the France missions etc.

sorry to say but after playing all the campaign as both sides they are heavily waited against the french and british.
