I have a question about the rankings board. Seems to me that "wins" and "games played" are *pretty* self evident (although I thought I had won a higher percentage of my total games played...). However, what is the "Battles" column? How is battle defined? Is it some smaller sequence inside a game? I've puzzled over it and can't figure it out. Any insight much appreciated.

This game, btw, is immensely enjoyable, and I've had a blast playing it. I feel it is nicely balanced, the tactics and rules make sense...it's pure pleasure to play, and I hope you sell a gazillion copies. I don't know how best to get the word out, but anybody who ever played Panzer General or any of that ilk of game needs to get this. I've also met some pretty nice folks playing multi on line, from as far away as Germany, Australia, Belgium and Italy (I'm from U.S.). Thanks for making the game and getting it out.

On the rankings front, the numbers are related to singleplayer games rather than multiplayer games. And I think that the various columns are:

"Games played" is number of times you've opened the game
"Battles" is number of scenarios played
"Wins" is number of scenarios won

But I could be wrong ... it's never been made clear.

At some point in the future the ranking system is supposed to be improved so it's something akin to Fields of Glory, i.e. a tournament system which shows real rankings based on tournament results. But I don't believe there is any date set for that.
