Hello, new member here. Love the Warhammer 40k universe, most of my experience is with the PC games, which I've enjoyed in the past. Signed up for the Armageddon beta. I know this is a long shot, but can we get an idea what kind of PC system requirements we're going to need to play? Thanks.

I hope someone can answer my questions at this stage:
Is there still any chance of getting into the Beta at this point so close to release?
I immediately signed up to Slitherin website when I heard the 40k IP was coming here unfortunately due to a lot of other beta's/Alpha's and Kickstarter campaigns I haven't travelled across this forum much since I signed up and completely missed the Beta sign up. I have not played any other of Slitherin's games before and hope that this might help with the beta process but at this late stage I really doubt it.
What factions are going to be if not already in at release and thereafter?
I would love to know what Factions are going to be involved in this game is it only going to be Orc's and Space marines (I have seen a few images containing Imperials) but I like the Necrons a lot more than either of the afore mentioned and would love to see them included along with the Tau, Tyranids and the rest of the factions.
What cost are we looking at for this game and will it involve in game purchases?
Games these days are getting hell'ova expansive, I do understand that the costs of producing games is going up and up while most of our wages are standing still the current Global economy isn't exactly one where we can spend frivolously so I would hope that this game will come at a reasonable cost. I will say I am far more likely to spend more on a game that will last a lot longer than 10hrs game play however.

I'm also curious about the answers for Cristari's questions (all three

), and I would like to add one more (i've asked it in another thread, but I see that it's still without any answer:
kal3jdoskop wrote:Hello, I've got some question (maybe a bit untypical), connected with multiplayer.
I've noticed, that most of the Slitherine's games have only multiplayer through "Slitherine PBM"or (rarely) only hot-seat (like in Drums of War, as far as I remember). Why Warhammer 40k: Armageddon will have only multiplayer through PBM and not hot-seat too? I'm asking because the policy of Slitherine in this case (and probably many others

) is not known for me, not to mention that it's really a pleasant surprise, that even now there are new turn-based strategies (like Age of Wonders 3 or Eador: Masters of the Broken World) with hot-seat mode. Thanks in advance for an answer!

Hi guys
the beta is ongoing and we've added 300 people already but its only a small % of those that applied. We had so many applicants we unfortunately have not been able to get many of them in. At this point there is still a chance of joining the beta but not great.
The game covers the 2nd War for Armageddon so has Imperial Guard, Orks and the 3 Space Marine Chapters that were involved. There are over 300 unit types in all. There have been no announcements about future updates and expansions at this point.
We're not making announcements on price at this stage but be assured there is far far more than 10 hours content.
Our PBEM system comes with Hotseat support so its down to each developer to whether they implement it or not, but most games with PBEM multiplayer do have hotseat mode. We will have hostseat in Armageddon, as we do in Battle Academy, Hell and Pike & Shot.
