Two small suggestions for better combat feedback

I have to admit it took quite a few hours until I understood the combat system with hit points and strength points.

How about providing some information about the outcome of a fight? Just add a (small) floating number in red over the attacked unit that indicates how my hit points it has lost. And make it an option for those that don't like it.

Similar, how about marking the attacking and defending units in the AI phase with a red outline? In larger scenarios it's sometimes VERY difficult to discern what's happening, even with unit movement speed all toned down. Again, make it an option.

Regarding your second point, there definitely needs to be changes made to tracking what's happening during an enemy turn. Slow the game down, make sure the camera focuses on the active enemy unit, and maybe even give a line of text somewhere if a unit is lost. I've restarted my next turn to find a unit's been destroyed completely off camera during the enemy turn, which isn't great.
