The updates came fast and furious right after release, and then nothing. I am holding off playing the game until it gets some more balance patches.

Is there an ETA on the next update, please?

Well, I mean we had holidays and so had the developers... ....


But I read somewhere on the forum that the next patch is in the pipeline. So expect it "soonish".

This is true. Christmas and such. Someone once told me to have patience. I said, "Patience. Yeah, how long is that going to take?"

We have set out a route intern for 2015 and well into 2016 on a wide variety of releases, there is a lot coming, expect more info in the upcoming weeks... and yes, you will have to have some patience, but it will be rewarding. That is all I can give you officially at this point.

Hi guys,

the team were working flat out for months to get Armageddon complete and patched to make sure over Christmas you had a great game to play. They then collapsed for 3 weeks to try and recover so nothing has happened. They are now rested and back on the case and we'll let you know when you can expect the next update. We hope to have something by the end of the month.

So what you're saying is, when you guys finished work on the Christmas patch, you clicked this button?

How about something vague in terms of A) release date and B) possible content?

Just some teasers to keep interest alive. Forum is currently close to dead, which never a good sign for such a young game.

All we know with reasonable certainty is that a future release will let you play as the Orcs and that Ogryns may be added to the base game. That last thingy may be off, because canon places the only Ogryns on Armageddon in the 3rd war: http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Monglor_Ogryn_Auxilia

40k canon is fluid, so just because Orgyns haven't been specifically mentioned in conjunction with the 2nd War doesn't mean they were not present. For all we know there could be an ogryn sub-population on Armageddon. Seems there is one of Ratlings (and Orks), so why not ogryns.

Now, if one we could have some squats please...

I'm not familiar with 40K outside of this game tbh, so that's good to hear. Hopefully Games workshop makes such allowance for the use of their IP license.
