Unable to end my turn

I am playing an online game. I play my move, press continue. However in gamelist it keeps saying it is my turn. I am unable to end my turn! How can I solve this?

What version of the game are you running? If you are on 2.0.2, can you send us feedback from the game in question?

I played with Koen and had the same problem; and in many other plays too; on both the Bulge and on Moscow.
Very frustrating. But otherwise these are superior games for the amateurs. They both motivate me to think on the period and the drama men suffered then on very large scales. In fact, when the game is stuck, or while waiting for the other player, I wish we could try combinations so as to reduce tries period when play turn comes back to you.

This is, unfortunately, a rare but persistent glitch that we've put tremendous time into solving, without success. Seems to come from brief lapses in communication. Still working on it :(

I gott say, this is no longer a "rare" problem. I am getting this in about every other game now. For the past two months now, i have had to delete and re-install DoM two or three times a week just to keep playing, sometimes within the same game. I have had two opponents for whom even that didn't work for them. My inbox of games in progress is cluttered with games that can't be continued because opponents couldn't get their turn sent, resigned or timed out, but it's still showing up as a game in progress. This was NOT in the original DoM but crept in at some point this spring, so I would examine the updates if I were you.

Just to add: these errors often arise with the "turn could not be sent, will be saved and sent later" message. But they never seem to get sent, it just becomes a loop of the same move over and over again every time you open the game, and the opponent never gets it...

hi there,
i also have this problem with BoB and DoM and it really sucks because my friend and i never can play a game untill the end.
we had such good games but allways ended up in this loop that the last turn was never transmitted :(
also reported the problem via ingame feedback but never got an answer.
pls fix this problem because the game is nit playable like this...

I'm having the same problem.
I play the last move of the game, where it says "turn over" and I'm supposed to capture moscow because of attrition. I see the victory wallpaper come up and all. But then it goes back to Main Menu and says that it still is my turn to play.
Not sure what to do.

I was wondering, would it be possible to implement a confirmation message when you hit the "end turn" button in battle? I've enved up having to repeat far too many battle phases because I accidentally grazed the button and immediately skipped my own turn as a result.

Same problem. Been happening for months. Worse in Desert War which is now unplayable.

What exactly is the issue so we can look in to it? The team are now up to speed on the code base and we're making changes and fixes where possible.

I had a 'hang' two weeks ago and submitted feedback, but is it being receiced?

Feedback sends an email to the (old?) Shenandoah address. Is that still being monitored?

I find it confusing that iOS can be in Airplane mode, and yet games still can be loaded from Game Center. It almost feels moves are transmitted asynchronously through the Game Center app on the phone, and then onwards to the GC Servers.

DoM doesn't appear to talk directly to GC servers.

Is that why it is so hard to 'debug'? Obviously a 'Feedback' email will only contian information about DoM application, but not the GC app, or server state.

My game recently keeps persisting on some turns that it is 'Pending Transmission' and appears stuck in that state when I recheck and recheck. Yet when I check it on another iOS device, the turn is actually sent, and a short while later I receive a turn from the other player.

We're planning to strip out the game center system and completely replace multiplayer with our own system but this is going to take some time to implement. This will give us more direct control and allow cross platform multiplayer in the future.

You should ask the guys of Wargaming. Their iOS game World of Tanks Blitz has seamless multiplayer with multi-platform users whilst using Game Center.

They offer the option of playing through a wargaming account, but I always play multi-player through Game Center. Never has any issues.
