Yes I have 1.7.0 version patch and I think that all works good in my game..What Have I do? please write....

Will the beta be a separate installation from the current game? If so count me in. I do not want to mess up my current game.

It will install to the default game folders UNLESS you make a copy of it yourself. This will require some basic computer knowledge which we won't go into ourselves. If you do install it over the original game you won't be able to join non-beta MP games until the patch goes official.

I would like to offer helping you guys out as well. Currently taking part in beta testing for the Mac version of OOB:P. I could test on both a "true" desktop PC (Windows XP) as well as in Apple's Boot Camp environment (Windows 7), the latter running on the very same hardware as the Mac beta.

from what i read and understand, the beta build is for optimisations

We've made a lot of memory optimisations in our internal builds, and we're looking for people to test them

so to speed the game up on different spec and hardware etc, plus other stuff, so as soon as it's ready we will all get contacted to help out and test the new patch before it gets released to make sure if works as intended

For those who have access to the beta forum, please grab the beta patch there. If no major issues are found we'll release it publically today or tomorrow.

The changelog for this patch:

- Custom camouflage skins for ground vehicles: Accessible through the unit information panel.
- Access to DLC manager in the main menu: Click the wooden crate icon in the top right corner.
- Captured units can now be repaired, but only at 1 strength point per turn.
- Spanish language added
- Bunkers and MG Foxholes can no longer be constructed adjacent to an enemy ground unit
- Mines can no longer be placed on exit points
- When upgrading an aircraft stored in a carrier, it can no longer take off during the same turn
