I just got the game on my IPad earlier this week. Last night I finished Battle on the Diabolus with 935 of the in game currency (forgot the name but is the cog symbol) and when the next battle Mountainous Evasion started, I have lost over 600 of that currency to have only 329. Has anyone else seen this loss of cogs?

That's because you pay for the replacement of what your forces lost during the missions (I mean casualties, not destroyed units).
