Slitherine

Just a fun thread! And I dont know if the server side has a database to keep track of poll calculations so Ill do it manually the old fashioned way. Text and editing. So if Slitherine and Straylight release DLC, what do you want first, second, third, etc. For purposes of recording the poll, your first two choices will be recorded and tallied.

I want Astra Militarum and Eldar! Having immense Imperial Guard armies and tanks all over the battlefield would be so AWESOME! And the Eldar, what an awesome race to compliment the Orks and Space Wolves on the field of battle.

EDIT: Feel free to check my math! =D Also, here's hoping that if Slitherine does release a DLC, that it will come with 2 armies and each one will have 2 campaigns to go with it! My bet is they will and I think it will be Astra Militarum. Did you see the Baneblade model in the campaign mission? WOW!

For me it would be Grey Knights/Sisters of Battle vs Chaos Space Marines! But Eldar would be good, it's just that usually in 40k computer games it's Space Marines vs Orks vs Eldar.

Imperial Guard and Tau would be next for me, followed by Eldar/Dark Eldar and Necrons. Then the others such as Harliquins, Skitari, etc..

The Codex Astartes is up there too. Plus Dark Angels. Can't wait to see some Black Templars!

Yes, yes, yes and yes!

If it is to be just a single option then I would like to see Tyranids, etc.

One observation if I may. If/when we get another Marine Chapter it would be good to see a difference in those units' effectiveness compared to the Space Wolves who are known for their particular effectiveness in melee, where other Chapters are more ranged orientated.

Regardless, I am very likely to purchase any DLC so long as the quality and support remains.

The Imperial Guard is in the lead.



And according to 40k lore, the following units participated in the Sanctus Reach campaign, if the next module, DLC, whatever sticks with the SR setting.

1651st Cadian Armored Regiment, 1652nd Cadian Armored Regiment, 1653rd Cadian Armored Regiment and Ogryn Auxiliaries.

So I would think they would be Cadians in the game if the Devs pick them.

Also the Obsidian Glaives Space Marines were destroyed by Warboss Grukk's forces. It would be really cool to get a campaign that covered that. It is rare for an entire chapter to be wiped out completely.

Necrons

So ominous and expressionless, rarely starring in animated context. Id like to know them better.
Also a nice contrast from the orkish organic splatter-kills.

They also remind me of Tomb Kings which is my favorite Fantasy army.


For the 'good' guys, Imperial Guard
