I noticed another problem with specializations, in the Germany East 1942 campaign the timeline at the specialization screen ends at the beginning of 1942, so the newer specializations can't be selected, simply because they are off screen. Edit: There is a similar problem in Germany East 1945.

Also, in Germany East 1943, the SS faction has access to some naval and air specializations for some reason.

I haven't noticed any other such problems in the Germany East series.

Micro mod 4.3 - 3v1 Operation Olympic 1945 2.3

I think the returning Kamikaze items are broken. I currently have 22485 CP available to deploy  I also have a reserve of over 100 aircraft

Would be fun except my machine has ground to a halt.

The Kyushu invasion game is almost finished and I think Japan would benefit in two respects, at least based on my area of the map (the east). Firstly they could definitely benefit from a lot more fighters. Maybe not realistic I know, but still... Anyway that one I've said before.

Something new though, and more plausible, lots more ground units in the north east. Not at the centre east of the map necessarily because the US pocket came periliously close to getting wiped out as is, but it's turn 20-ish and I have dozens of units basically sitting around with nothing to do. If Japan had large numbers of reinforcements maybe? Or just positioned so that it would take them 10 - 15 turns to move into play. They don't necessarily need to be tanks and artillery either, just loads of cheapo infantry would do fine without straining plausibility I think. If a couple dozen infantry started popping up around turn 15 things would get a lot more interesting, and fair for Japan. Also tweaking objectives maybe, although I seem to remember you mentioning that was already in the works.

Erik:
I'm enjoying your campaigns and scenarios.

I just finished the Germany West 1939-40 campaign and have started the Germany West 1940 campaign.

Is there a way to roll over the unit experience and specialization data from the earlier campaigns into the later campaigns? I started the 1940 campaign with no core units and no specializations.

I'd love to see a western front that combines all the Germany West scenarios as well as the France 1940 scenarios into one massive campaign, if such a thing is possible.

Thanks

TJ

You can import core units from one German campaign to the next on the timeline.
The units will keep 50% of their experience.
I'm not sure if the specialisations carry over. Anyway, each campaign will assign the various specs within that time-frame.

Back in the early OOB-days I tried creating one German campaign that covered the whole war. I ran out of number of scenario slots.
It became rather unwieldy before I reached that point...

After covering the grand campaigns I am now working with specific operations.
Right now I'm almost halfway (total 20+ scenarios) through Operation Typhoon (the race for Moscow). I find the subject quite interesting as it includes German/Soviet offensives and small/medium/large scenarios during clear, mud and snow climate. It ends with a big bang what-if attack on Moscow itself.
