Thank you for your reply. In fact it is the loading of the scenario which poses problem. The scrolling of tips continues to be carried out normally, the game is therefore not blocked. I'm on a PC version.

Hello Some details on my research: I tried to use the scenario alone (by moving it to the right directory). The result is the same. Launch of the loading then blocking. I also tried, from the scenario editor, to load the "Omaha" scenario. There, the loading does not start at all. The problem seems to concern, in my case, the ".scz" file..

I meant the version of the game. The development of the Mac version stopped a while back, so its version number is lower than the PC version.
If you do have the PC version of the game, make sure this is updated to the latest.
Also make sure you have the latest campaugn version, zip file is 'US Corps 1944-45_1.6'

I suppose it's only a matter of bookkeeping and I should have noticed it when it was first uploaded, but on the front page the link for "Germany East 1943" says it's v1.3 (1-4-2021).

The downloaded file is named "Germany East 1943_1.9.zip".

Thanks for your continued effort over these years!

Thanks again, Acer.
I may push the US updates to after the last of the Allied trilogy has been published (new units and specialisations(?)).

Edit:
Erik could it be that i don't get the commanders when i import the core units from the first campaign? Some of the commanders if i'm correct were assigned in the first campaign.

Hi Erik,

I tried your Korean War Campaign part 2. I really think you need to redo the "Right On Top of Us - Hagaru" scenario. It is not only impossible to win, it is impossible to survive after turn 4 or 5. There are simply too many full strength CC units and too few marines to protect the jeeps. The marines get overwhelmed and it is game over. I even game the Marines an extra 1000 RP and it makes no difference. You just can't protect the jeeps. Not sure what you were after in this scenario as it does not remotely follow the actual battle. In the real battle the marines did there "ridge running" to keep the roads clear and they DID succeed. This smacks more of Task Force Faith. I'll try the alternate battle and see if it is better balanced.

Operation Typhoon v0.9 beta-test

Post by Erik2 »

This is a long about the German struggle to reach Moscow in 1941-42.
It consists of 23 medium-to-large sized scenarios, so probably not suitable for everyone...
There are a few branches where the player may select betwen 2-3 scenarios. The campaign ends with a what-if attack on Moscow itself.
Wehrmacht and Waffen SS core units.

Please report back in this thread. And have fun
