If you still have the previous SquadMod version you could try copying the Data/units.csv from the new version to the old one. This is the only change in the mod itself. You should of course also copy the Campaigns folder from the new version.

The save games are from my playtest. Forgot to remove them...
That is working Erik!
Damn why didn't I think of that myself?

I started the Normandy US campaign and nuked my way to the Falaise scenario.
I deployed the US units and let the scenario run for a couple of turns.
So this scenario works fine for me.
I'm starting to suspect it's my install that is the cause of all my troubles. I'll try a fresh install. Still I've attached the two save files that lead to the error. The End of Turn one loads to the 3D battlefield, while the Campaign save gets stuck in the loading screen. Maybe you can find something.

I get the same issues trying to load your save files. So it looks like something with your OOB.

I went ahead and did a full reinstall of OoB and tried various mods on the fresh install. I've tried every mod I could find on the forums. As it stands, Korean War, Test Mod, and Spanish Civil War Mod work; Naval, Micro and Squad dont. Same issue as before, launching the mod leads to a black screen and no main menu appearing.

What strikes me is that it's only Erik's mod that appear to have that problem. Since Korea is working and Micro isn't I suspect sometime in the first half of 22 there is a change to the mod structure that causes this. It appears to me as if the game tries to load something and isn't able to find it. So it hangs there. I do not understand the game well enough to make a better educated guess. I tried getting a debug log, but the game doesn't seem to generate one.

PS: In good news I haven't been able to crash the Korean War mod yet. It used to go a maximum of 10 turns before it froze on me. I've played through the Turkish and the Marine campaign without a hitch. The game hangs occasionally but never more than 30 seconds or so.

The black screen issue affecting some users trying to load some mods (not neccessarily the same ones) is a mystery.
Maybe the game is unable to load one or more of the modded files for some reason.
As long as the mods are working ok in my playtests it is not possible for me to fix them...

Many users had AI hang issues with the Korea mod, it is actually a bit strange that it plays ok for you.
Enjoy it while it lasts

Hey Erik,

Semper Fidelis 43-44
Sapain 1 i killed all Bunkers and get the land commander, after killing all artillery and at guns i don't get a land commander .
Same for Saipan 2 no air commander and no land commander reward after finishing the tasks.

I use the option to migrate my core from semper fi 42-43 could this maybe a reason that i don't get the commanders?
i remember that i had same issues with the US Campaigns when using my core units from campaign to campaign.

if so i need to replay it without the core unit transfer

I don't know if commanders are migrated or what may happen if the same commanders are rewards in the next campaign.
I would guess it does not break anything since you may import cores in the official trilogy campaigns.
I "never" import cores in my own campaigns, preferring to use the historical units assigned.

Air issues are probably because I'm transferring air units/commanders from the Marines to the standard US faction.
I decided to do this to have more control over air resource income.

Looks like the 43-44 campaign is missing this update. I'll check & fix.

Hey Erik,

Mission Guam 2 i don't get the reward tank M3A4 105 for not losing a single Tank.
I hope it is the correct Mission the one before the Tinian Mission.

Happy Holidays :)

Hello Erik!

I enjoy the Sicily scenario, but wonder if it could be made for 4 players as an alternative? The axis is somewhat lonely to play as :)

Thank you for reading!
