I started playing this game and it really needs a few simple fixes to make multiplayer enjoyable. Quite a lot of wargamers are really into multiplayer so I think it is sensible to create a good multiplayer mode. I almost never play single player campaigns..

1. Please have a skirmish mode where the two armies are facing each other. With turn-based PBEM it just doesn’t work too well to have 5 days or more of simply moving out of your corner to face the enemy during a multiplayer battle.

2. Does PBEM work with this game? I registered with my Steam account..

3. Have an option to send messages to your opponent during the battle!

I don’t know how balanced it would be but a FGII tournament might be fun.

'Hotseat' should be a mandatory option for any turn based game attempting to simulate board-like conditions.
I, certainly, miss the 'old days' when 'lan' was an option for nearly every 'mp' game.
I like PBEM++ for its' convenience & dependability; but for a 'head to head' match it does require more time to play turns.
Oh well...at least we have that & I will add, it does work very well when playing vs folks on the other side of the planet.
