Game won't auto-save at beginning of the turn

After the 1.00.09 update, the game no longer auto-saves at the beginning of turn. It doesn't matter if it's every turn or any other frequency. I also had both end and beginning selected, as well as the beginning alone.

I've got the same issue. Hope it gets fixed in the next patch.

Yes, under certain conditions autosaves break in 1.0.9. This is fixed now, and fix will be included in the next update. Sorry for this problem.

When will the next update / patch be issued? I can not save any game

Patch came out yesterday. Autosaves are working for me, do you mean you can't save at all though?

Another minor issue related to saving is this. If you use certain special characters in your title it will fail silently. I tried to save my game with a name like:
Level 3: Norway - Game 2
Or something like this and it just didn't save it, but also didn't give an error. I tried multiple times, until I changed the name to something without those special characters and then it did work. This could be annoying as it never informs you that it doesn't work and therefore leaves you under the impression that you have been saving your game regularly.
