Re: Ottoman team event : Round Two

Not sure of the final % but it appears to be an Ottoman Victory. Twas a fun game without a shred of terrain to hide behind....The final count was 63% of the runaway Polish Commonwealth serfs were absent from the evening meal of watered down tree bark and 46% of the Ottoman sales team didn't meet th...

Re: Ottoman team event : Round Two

I g(h)ope that Gavin can complete his games against Flynn and Dang in the next week.
Sorry, Alan both my opponents haven't been on-line for some time. Dang was doing well and has a clear upper-hand but Flynn and I have only played 2 turns since well before Xmas. I'll try to reach them again.

Re: Ottoman team event : Round Two

It seems that we have successfully thrown our Zaporozhian serfs at the Ottomans and they have not disappointed. The Polish/Lithuanian Commonwealth Alliance will be pleased to hear that their escaped serfs are sacrificing themselves by dying in great numbers to slow the spread of footstools in the Bl...

Re: Ottoman team event : Round Two

The Hungarian alliance player sets up a game. This round they get 200 more points. So, you have to set up large, agricultural , click on custom and change your side to 2200 points (=200). You can choose historical opponents but it must be in the same time period...eg Zappy cossacks 1494- 1608 vs Ott...

It seems that the Zaporozhian Sich has grown so rapidly that I've despatched two cossack forces and I find myself delegating a bulawa and command to my good right hand man - Otaman Lefty Ladovich with strict instructions to put an end to flynnn5555's illegal footstool store near the Dnieper Rapids ....

Re: Ottoman team event : Round Two

According to the British military Musuem
Few seasonal tasks can be more unusual than those carried out by Parliament’s soldiers [ECW] in the 1640s and 1650s. It was sometimes their job to prevent people from celebrating Christmas!

An enjoyable but tragic (if you're Hungarian) round one report from the "Last of the Mohacans" I imagine :D László Bíró notes that the great Ottoman victories at Mohacs have just been immortalized in the sultan's new hit play - Memoirs of a Janissary: Has anyone seen Dang? First four Mohacans.png
