Well done ! The release of the new version coincided with the sad and tragic date of the attack on the USSR on 22 June 1941 ! ( Download )

To be honest I didn´t think about the date when I uploaded the new version. I didn´t knew it was 21/06 :)
But as Bite said, June 22 can be referring to Operation Bagration indeed!.

My pleasure friend. I just want to deliver the best content quality to all my fellow players :).

For now I will not release more updates until The Great Patriotic War launch (I am still looking for Alpha Testers) which will come in the next months. I must say that to develop huge scenarios is a BIG challenge :)

MORE SCENARIO TESTING SCREENSHOTS

After heavy fighting the Red Army couldnt stop the encirclement at Minsk by September:
Image

Violent counter attack by the Red Air Force, enough damage inflicted on enemy ground forces near the recent lost Minsk.
Image

Some armor units are deployed north Leningrad to stop a powerful Finnish assault:
Image

More reinforcements are sent to Leningrad, in this case a Guard unit with a Hero of the Soviet Union amongst its men:
Image

So far the results I got are far better than my previous test run, but still not enough, with no so much difficulty I am delaying the Werhmacht advance: its december and the AI just arrived in the outskirts of Smolensk (but I lost a train evacuating the factories at Minsk too early, I will have to rework this). The south its worst though..... the AI seems to be just sitting :x
Regarding the war against Finland I am quite satisfied, its very good balanced by now :D

Uzbek please, remove that screenhost, its too huge and major spoiler! :S
Remember to use the proper AAR thread  I am starting to think if you are making all this on purpose.

By July 1942 the losses suffered on both sides are terrible:

And the front seems to be stable for now........

.... until the Germans unleash an inferno at the South, Rostov is about to face heavy fighting:

Hey Akkula, if I download the 1.2 version will it be only the smaller scenarios or is the big map included? if not, Is there any chance you can upload the the mega map(scenario) when finished? (Just the map with roads, cities, rivers etc) I would love to have a look at it!:D

Hi maho1973, thanks a lot for your kind words. May you enjoy this campaign, from the Don to the Berlin!

Regarding the Mozhaisk debriefing, you are right. The MV text is missing, thanks for the report I will fix by the release of The Great Patriotic War map.

Best regards.

Some more news from the front!.
Last months of 1942 and the Axis forces are reaching the Maykop oilfields, only lend-lease tanks coming from the Middle East are my only chance to face the enemy armor:
Image

In an attempt to regain some prestige per turn I started an offensive all along the Finnish front to take some key cities, going well so far.....
Image

In Leningrad I lost my special KV-220-76 and the city has no armor defense, it seems everything is just a matter of time....
Image

New Year!, The Soviet forces welcome the new year launching a massive counter attack at the Don river. The enemy couldnt reach Stalingrad and now I will try to cut the Axis forces at the Caucasus.
Note: At the northern hex of Stalingrad we can see a famous AA defense commanded by some girls... just another little tribute to the Soviet girls that served in that cruel war.

Forgotten Campaigns + Akkula's different approach towards the war = Pure greatness. This mod is simply fantastic, man i'm gonna play it over and over again.
By the way Akkula is there any possibility for you to make a similar mod for Germans and their forgotten campaigns as well ? After Great Patriotic War mod of course.
Looking forward to future updates

Hi ppanzer, thanks for your words! :). It makes me feel good every time I found I could deliver some fun to people in the community!

Yes, after TGPW I was thinking in make some other campaigns covering specific periods of the war, both for Soviets and Germans. The only think that will make that difficult is the UI, I will have to work in some "generical" stuff, or maybe a "German Storm" approach (?).
Anyway, rest assured that I will continue working in these projects in the future :)

Thanks again for your comments.

Thanks for your words Guille, in fact, your fantastic work and dedication expanding the PzC universe inspired me to create this Soviet mod. So thank you again :P

I think I am starting to see the light at the end of tunnel.... although some more testing remain to be done, the scenario is something like 80% completed. In fact these days I switched from the scenario scripting to UI and unit icons edition to clear my mind a little bit and to change the face of my mod (screenshots in a near future :D ), but this week will I will come back to the triggers inferno :| .

Some more pics from my test run

The front at the end of the winter of 1942/1943. The southern area is my main concern as the Axis is striking hard and fast:
Image

The Battle for Rostov is at its peak, I recaptured it but the Germans launch another offensive (still I dont know how I moved that SU-14 from Moscow to Rostov :?: ):
Image

The Germans release their new heavy armor at the Staraya Russa - Demyansk area, my forces suffer heavy losses in a desperate attempt to stop it:
Image

The Leningrad blockade is about to end as I send a significant number of units to strike the enemy flank:
Image

Best regards.

It seems you are better player than me uzbek! :P
Keep sending me the PMs, please tell me what difficulty are you trying. I am realizing how difficult is to balance a huge map and at the same time keep some historical aspects alive.

I'm an old fan of the series games Panzer General and now Panzer corps ) So I am hard to impress but you could (Bravo and encore ) go ahead and Continue to delight us ) well , the balance and the historicity will add and update new versions ) Alternative history and other turning points which were not in reality does not hurt ) if the player will be able to quickly achieve success in the right time )

Will add such a visually modified units ?
