Re: Post 103c Patch news?
I must admit that some news would be welcome but at least we know that the next patch is currently worked on ^^

Re: Mid- to Late-Game Blahs?
I hear you, but in my game they are ALL fortified-- every single one. Even going several planets deep (which is about all you can do until you actually take something to use as a refueling stop). Even skipping thru a wormhole on a suicide run to look towards their rear areas I have not seen a singl...

Re: Mid- to Late-Game Blahs?
I do agree with Freifrei. I never invade heavily fortified planet. I simply put a battle satellite or left a corvette in orbit and I move forward. I was doing massives invasions but I realized that it was not really a good option. If I need an industrial planet and I assault it while it is well defe...

Re: How to add a new ressource and its specificities?
I go to give you another idea. You can create a building which it gives you more food points. You can make a special tech for it. At the end. You are posing this idea more as a new feature in the game than one original edited. Editing is the key from modding. you're right. the "easy" way ...

How to add a new ressource and its specificities?
I noticed in game a desertic planet named "Arrakis". http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/456361430281594485/CFBC38A4B10E02AB8E0713C7D0F5C339DDBA49A2/ It gave me an idea: Why not creating a drug that could augment the productivity of a (or several) selected planet(s). The drawback...

New planets Cryogenic Water Worlds. Planets that would allow a lot of Hydroponics. http://i.imgur.com/ir5OjP1.jpg Selena. Typically the Iron planets. They are simply made of metals. In conclusion extraction is some how easy on these worlds. But... life is never simple. The more dense are the planet ...

Re: the tactical AI.
believe me dude, I've complained about this very same problem here on the forums, idk what will be done about it but as it is the battle Ai is just laughably stupid I believe you, dude :) The AI could use formations I think, just like the fighters, for its main ships. It shouldn't be too hard after...

Re: Ship design: Quantity vs quality
After it all depends also by what you call quality. In fact quality and quantity are not really apllicable to the game. It's mostly a matter of production capacity vs resource availabillety and otoh DPS per cost. Quantity ships depend in their "quality" on the current tech level too, in g...

Re: Ship design: Quantity vs quality
Just to have a discussion on ship design and to ask people how they organise/build their fleets the more so keeping costs and pontential numbers in mind. What do people thing, is it better to build a larger force that is cheaper in resources, or is it better to build a smaller amount of high qualit...

the tactical AI.
Is it possible to embetter a bit the tactical AI? The corvettes, and others main ships are generally charging without any formation. Taking them out is really easy simply because they never really regroup In formation (I never seen it actually even with 20 ships in front). It could be an idea to for...

The containers question: what happen if...
I have a set of theoretical questions. what happen if my scout is destroyed while carrying one of the Pryoni/arion keys? Am I definitely unable to do "something later with in the game" If a Station is disassembled and loaded into a few cargo ships and then some cargo ships are destroyed, W...

Re: Planetary modding questions
I worked a bit this weekend. It doesn't left much things to do for me apart creating unique palettes for the planets. But I have a few questions on the effect of some parameters. Let's call that fine tuning. Position Hot,Middle, cold does it really works as I understand or is it obsolete? Prefer &qu...

Stealth ships : how to deal with?
I got a very very hard time with stealth orbital bombers.
They simply glassed my industrial planets :XD:
And the mean time I had lots of sabotages on my mining planets.
How do you deal efficiently with these kind of ships?

Planet created :p

Just a draft but it is a piece of cake to add a planet type. The longuest thing to do is to type the description in the LANG folder.

Re: Planetary modding questions
I informed about it when the game was released but the unique solution by the moment is to wait to the modding patch where if I am not wrong, the cells editor will be divided from the main program. I'm completely confident in Ufnv. Anyway the cell editor is in the last pool of things I'll ne...

Re: Planetary modding questions
What error do you see? Have you edited the game? can you load the normal game? I do not know, it is very simple. Just open a CMD screen, set the polaris sector folder and to write Polarissector -design , nothing more. What version from the game have you? Steam or Slitherine? I have a steam distribu...
