Cavalry has the same hard attack as normal infantry. By 1941, there is no way an infantry can deal huge damage to a tank in open terrain unless you play the game at 100% randomnesses. You can check the combat log by pressing l to see what's going on.

Camouflage works on transport.
Camouflage does not work on adjacent units.
AI will not "remember" the location of the camouflage unit unless it can "see" it, which means an AI unit is adjacent to the camouflage unit.

Report a bug. Units still get supplied each mission even if the denied artillery/air force are taken.

If you really want a easy mode but still get some fun, I would recommend to get unlimited prestige and core slots.
