I have posted ELO rankings for Chaos Tourney participants for each of the last three seasons. Those are cumulative rankings and I will update them as each season wraps up.

Re: ELO Ratings

Would people be interested in setting up ELO ratings for FOG2? I've taken a look at a few programs and seems like it's just a matter of plugging in the names and results (W/L/D) of matches; the program then does all the math and spits out the rankings. I think I may plug in the data from my previou...

Theoretically, one simple solution to the cheating problem is to disable reloading of turns.
But what then happens if you suffer a legitimate problem? You can't continue with the game.

Best Wishes

Re: dkalenda has been expelled from the tournament for multiple re-loading of turns during his matches . . .

But, how dkalenda's opponent realize the multiple reloading of turns and sent a message to Pete for investigation?

Re: dkalenda has been expelled from the tournament for multiple re-loading of turns during his matches . . .

Is it possible for a player to realize, when his opponent reload his turn multiple times? Is there any indicators, any signs or something else?

Re: The Rally Point (discussion, questions and some highbrow philosophising)

I think it depends on the matchup of both players and factions. I tend to play rather defensively against people who usually beat me; not that it saved me against Nosy_Rat or Ludendorf or pantherboy! But I think I did better than I would have with an offensive strategy. I even went so far as to cam...

Re: About Disruption

So, a unit must be two or more hexes away to fall back without a Cohesion Test. I was unlucky one more time.

Re: About Disruption

The unit was one hex away from the enemy unit in open ground. It disrupted and in the next turn, the enemy unit charge and fragment my unit. I was surprised, because i wanted to retreat and avoid a mismatch.

Re: About Disruption

One more thing i have noticed in the game so far is the disruption of a steady unit, when it falls back one hex. Steady unit in full strength away for the battle for many turns.

Re: About Disruption

One possible modification of the Disruption state is to be equal to 1/3 casualties of a unit.
The Muslim Light Horse (Javelins) unit with 126 men strength could be disrupted when loose the first 42 men. And the same for the rest morale states (Fragmented and routed).

About Disruption

In the first photo the Muslim Light Horse (Javelins) unit have lost 10% of its men (114/126) and is disrupted. In the second photo, the same unit have lost over 20% of its men (93/123) and is still steady. I think, it should be the opposite. The unit with the most casualties must be disrupted etc. S...

Re: Fighting elephants with elephants

They are also deadly if mixed in with friendly cavalry against hostile medium cavalry. Elephants have trouble with medium cavalry as they, unlike lancers, can retreat and evade out the way, and the elephants are highly unlikely to catch them. Your own cavalry, on the other hand, may or may not be a...

Re: elephant quality

In many battles, elephants are undefeated by light troops shoots. They suffer no casualties. How is that possible? Did they have a invicible shield around? Elephants seem pretty vulnerable to light troops to me. Also, even when it looks like they aren't taking casualties, they are--IIRC the display...
